Wizards of the Coast releases three new D&D products!

I can never get enough city maps. If you've ever run an urban RPG campaign, you know what I mean—encounters in the streets tend to take on that "been there, done that" feeling if you trot out the same maps again and again. No more! Dungeons & Dragons Essentials: Dungeon Tiles Master Set—The City is coming to the rescue! This box of customizable terrain tiles adds new dimension to your tabletop RPG experience. Easy to set up and infinitely expandable, this box contains 10 double-sided sheets of illustrated, die-cut terrain tiles printed on heavy cardstock, featuring city streets, sewer tunnels, and terrain elements.

Dungeons & Dragons Essentials: Monster Vault is a boxed set that collects the most iconic D&D monsters and presents all-new variants, including new spins on such beloved monsters as dragons, orcs, and vampires. These monsters are designed to be easy for Dungeon Masters to use and fun for players to fight. In addition to 4E combat statistics, each monster entry comes with story information to help incorporate the monsters into adventures and campaigns. In addition, this box contains die-cut tokens for the monsters within, as well as a 32-page adventure showcasing several of the monsters.

Finally, Dungeons & Dragons Essentials: Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms is a 4E supplement that presents exciting new builds for the game’s most popular classes: druid, paladin, ranger, and warlock. Each class comes with a set of new powers, class features, paragon paths, epic destinies, and more that beginning players can use to build the characters they want to play... and that experienced players can plunder for existing characters. This book also presents expanded information and racial traits for some of the game’s most popular races, including dragonborn, drow, half-elves, half-orcs, and tieflings.

Call me crazy, but these "Essentials" products sound really intriguing.

Like I've said elsewhere, I haven't done a lot with my 4E stuff in a long time (over a year I think) but there are still several elements of 4E that I like... and these Essentials books and products pique my interest.

(Of course the Dungeon Tiles work with any table top RPG, I've been using all my DT along with my GM - Flip-Mats and Map Packs).

Man oh man... decisions, decisions.
