You've Got Character!
Gamer Ingenuity releases the first print edition Pathfinder RPG–compatible character folio!
At Gen Con this past summer, old friend and retailer Brian Dalrymple approached me with a prototype of his Complete Character Folio for the Pathfinder RPG. In the past, character folios from folks such as Green Ronin became staples at adventure tables around the world, but for some reason, nobody had stepped in to fill this void for the Pathfinder RPG. Of course I told him that we would love to stock and sell the folio for him when it was done—and it's done!
The Complete Character Folio features 12 pages that cover your Pathfinder RPG character in depth and in detail, with all the basics—Abilities, Saves, Attacks, and Defenses—including Hero Points from the Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player's Guide. There are also pages or parts of pages to add depth to your character—a full page for Skills; a background page, including room for titles, family, and contacts; Feats, Class, and Racial Features, and Traits; possessions—gear slots, plus space for containers and conveyances; a well-organized Spellcasting pages that help track magic use; mini-Character sheets for Cohorts, Followers, Mounts, a Familiar, an Eidolon, or augmented summoned creatures you call upon regularly; an Advancement page to log your progress as you level, or plan ahead; extra pages for note-keeping; plus two pockets to hold maps, watch lists, treasure lists, and other notes.

I checked this out in the warehouse today and I honestly can't imagine running a character without one of these. I plan to pick one up for my next campaign and maybe even retroactively convert all my existing characters to these sheets as well.

I have to say I'm really tempted . . . its just I've had SO many fatalities in the last year of gaming . . . ;)
This is an actual packet of physical sheets and not a pdf, correct?
I would love to get this in pdf format.
Are these available only through the website or can my FLGS order me a couple here in Minnesota? (Village Games)
Tessius wrote: This is an actual packet of physical sheets and not a pdf, correct? Yes, it consists of 12 sheets of paper in a sturdy folder with pockets on the inside covers. All the sheets are bound in the folder, so you won't have to worry about them falling out.
Those who have seen it:
Do you have any thoughts about how well the paper sheets will hold up to repeated erasing / editing over the course of 20 levels? What kind of stock did they use?
Thanks!
Thank you Lisa!
This has been a whole new experience, and we're really excited to be supporting Pathfinder! (We just wrapped up a session ourselves.)
The folio paper is 60# white. We went with a heavier stock specifically because of feedback at GenCon from Pathfinder Society players, who highlighted durability for regular erasing as something we needed to have.

I have already bought two of them. One for PFS and one for home games. They are great and it looks like they will hold up to erasing pretty well. Also, the front and back cover sleeves are printed with commonly used tables (conditions, combat modifiers, etc.).

Alliance has them at every location, as does ACD and PHD. Aladdin should have theirs shortly, for stores in the North Star State that use them.
