The first time around it was goblins. This time, something a bit bigger. When the players find out the force is but a prelude to something much larger, they take the fight to the stone giants themselves in their fortress, Jorgenfist. Will the players succeed in finding out who is behind the invasion before their home is crushed beneath the feet of giants?

In addition to the giant adventure by Wolfgang Baur, Pathfinder #4 has a Pathfinder's guide to stone giants, an in-depth article on the dragons of Golarion, the next installment of the Pathfinder's Journal, and seven new monsters to infest your campaign!

At Last We Will Have Revenge!

Check out this special Darth Maul metal miniature only on paizo.com!

Our Price: $10.00
Unavailable

Everybody remembers the moment in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn are leaving the Naboo hangar, and the doors they are about to go through open to reveal the Sith Apprentice Darth Maul. As the three come face to face, Darth Maul activates his lightsaber and not one, but two blades appear. It was one of those moments that made my geek sense switch to overload and left me with goosebumps!

A short time later, while I was at Wizards of the Coast as the Star Wars Brand Manager, we decided to get into the metal miniatures business. To show Lucasfilm what we could do, we asked sculptor Chaz Elliott to create a miniature of an iconic character. With Episode I fresh in his mind, he gave us the Darth Maul promotional miniature. Presenting the villainous Sith in his classic double-bladed-lightsaber-wielding pose, this miniature was also used for promotional purposes in the summer of 2000.

Well, paizo.com has a small stash of these miniatures—believed to be the only ones left—and we're offering them to the general public for the first time ever, while supplies last. Whether you play Wizards' Star Wars RPG, or just like to paint cool miniatures, you're going to want to have this menacing Sith Lord in your minis collection!

New Craziness in the Paizo Sale!

More products added... check them out!

Will it ever stop? While picking up some product from Green Ronin for their hugely successful sale, Chris Pramas found a stash of out-of-print products that he promptly agreed to add to the sale. So hurry and check out the crazy low prices on Armies of the Abyss, The Book of Fiends, Hell in Freeport, The Psychic's Handbook, Martial Arts Mayhem, and Todd Gamble's Cartographica! At these prices, and with these low quantities, I don't expect them to be around for long!

We've also decided to clear out some of our Paizo T-shirts in preparation for new designs coming in early 2008! Both the Kill Doctor Lucky: Monkey Hand T-Shirt and the Stonehenge T-Shirt are 50% off, while supplies last!

We also have a great deal on a few copies of the Dungeons & Dragons: Player's Handbook Hardcover Special Edition. This leather-bound book presents the 3.5 edition of the rules in a format that will last forever and look amazing on your tabletop! And at almost 47% off the cover price, this isn't a price that will stick around for long.

I Shot the Sheriff!

Bang!: The Bullet! is here!

Our Price: $39.00
Unavailable

One of my favorite card games of the last ten years has to be Bang!, originally published in Italy by daVinci, and released in the US by Mayfair Games. A true spaghetti western, Bang! is a rough-and-tumble all-out duel in the Old West. Each player secretly takes the role of a bandit or a lawman, and each role has a unique victory condition. The fun is that you don't necessarily know who is who, so you might shoot your own deputy or a fellow bandit while you're trying to find out!

Arriving just in time for holiday shopping, Mayfair has released a deluxe version of Bang!, called Bang!: The Bullet! Housed in a cool bullet-shaped box, you get every Bang! card released to date. That's the third edition game deck with reworked cards and rules, as well as the Dodge City expansion and the sold-out High Noon and High Noon II: A Fistful of Cards expansions. There are also two new exclusive High Noon cards, three new characters, two blank cards to add your own ideas to the mix, and a sheriff badge to pin on that do-gooder—when you finally figure out who he is!

GameMastery 101!

Into the Haunted Forest helps you become the best you can be!

Add Print Edition: $5.00
Add PDF: $3.50

When we conceived GameMastery Module TC1: Into the Haunted Forest, we had the goal of making a a cool low-level adventure that would provide all kinds of tips and tricks for GMs to make their games even cooler! A barroom brawl at a country inn causes the destruction of a priceless relic, and the heroes are responsible. Come On Up for the Rising!

The Rise of the Runelords Item Cards are here!

Our Price: $9.99
Add To Cart

As most of you know already, Paizo's GameMastery Item Cards have been a huge hit. Invented as a way to make magic items more tangible in your RPG game, and also as a great way to keep track of them, we've already released six sets, each with their own unique theme. And when the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path started in Pathfinder this past August, we thought it would be cool to bring some of the goodies to our Item Cards. The result is the GameMastery Item Cards: Rise of the Runelords Deck.

Loaded with cards from the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, this 54-card set includes such items as Dog Slicers from "Burnt Offerings", Varisian Scarves from the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide , and War Razors and Skinsaw masks from "The Skinsaw Murders." And there are plenty more cards from the entire six-volume arc of the Adventure Path, all the way up to Karzoug's book and robes from the climactic finale, "Spires of Xin-Shalast"!

Of course, if you aren't playing in the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, these cool items can be used in any fantasy setting, just like the previously released decks.

So bring out the best in your Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path and get the GameMastery Item Cards: Rise of the Runelords Deck!

GameMastery Flip-Mat: Woodlands

Over the River and through the Woods...

The newest Flip-Mat is coming to your neck of the woods!

Add PDF: $8.99
Print: Out of print

The woods around your party are dark. Even sunlight can barely find its way through the leafy canopy. Maybe it's just in your mind, but shadowy shapes seem to be moving at the edges of your vision as you follow the dirt path through the forest. Suddenly, a war cry issues from the throats of treacherous warriors as they break cover—the battle is on!

Our GameMastery Flip-Mats are a great resource for GMs looking for themed mats. The original Flip-Mat Forest sold out earlier this year, so we decided to revisit the woods—and the result is GameMastery Flip-Mat: Woodlands.

This Flip-Mat features an ancient druid shrine, a small pond, an ominous cave, and a hollow tree, all of which make for perfect adventure sites. The Flip side features an empty wilderness with a simple path running down the middle, perfect for a gnoll ambush!

Like all Flip-Mats, the 24" x 30" mat folds down to a convenient 8" x 10", and can handle dry erase, wet erase, and even permanent marker. If you haven't tried one yet, now's a great time!

DM Screen from Dragon #310

Super-Duper Warehouse Cleaning!

We need some room in our warehouse, so these items are priced to go!

The Paizo warehouses are getting a bit full, what with all the new GameMastery and Pathfinder products coming in every few weeks. So we decided to get in the holiday spirit and provide savings galore on a bunch of products.

First off, we have the Dungeons & Dragons: 3.5 Dungeon Master's Screen. This baby was originally shipped as part of Dragon #310, which sold out very quickly. We'll be selling it for a buck through the end of the year—a perfect chance to get one or two.

We've also added Legions of Hell to the Green Ronin sale! It has been out of print for a while, but we have some left over from an old Dragon promotion. For $2, you can't go wrong!

The Paizo warehouse is also packed full of Adiken miniatures, paints and paint brushes, now marked down 50%. If you love to paint miniatures, or perhaps are just getting started, here's a chance to get some high-quality products at a significant savings.

Paizo also has the complete line of Pendragon Fiction from Green Knight available for the low, low price of $1 per book! Adventure with King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, and the rest of the Round Table at huge savings!

Finally, we have a wide selection of World of Darkness comics and trade paperbacks from Moonstone Comics, all at a blood-curdling 50% off the cover price!

Apocalypse Now?

Green Ronin has slashed the prices on many of its d20 products!

When I got the email from Chris Pramas at Green Ronin announcing a "d20 Apocalypse Sale," it made me smile. Chris's reference to a theoretical armageddon due to the launch of 4th edition D&D is a nice tongue-in-cheek reference to the cries that "our beloved game is doomed" that have been gracing messageboards since Gen Con.

But there is nothing tongue-in-cheek about the savings Green Ronin is passing on to everyone with this sale! They've marked tons of books down to $10 or even $5. There's even a healthy stack of books on sale for $2—heck, I've got dice that cost more than that! So here's a chance to fill up your shelves with some of Green Ronin's best titles for pennies on the dollar. Check out the list of sale titles!

While I'm talking about sales, paizo.com is happy to announce that we have created a new sale area of our website. Over the next week, I plan to add all kinds of sale items for the holiday season. So check back to the paizo.com blog throughout the next week to find out what other items will be on sale this year!

An Oldie But a Goodie!

A Judges' Guild classic is back!

Our Price: $12.99
Add To Cart

If you're a grognard like me, you probably recall Paul Jaquays' classic Judges' Guild adventure, Dark Tower. Published in early 1980, it was the first Judges' Guild module to use the then-new Advanced D&D rules. This adventure was officially sanctioned by TSR and became a classic amongst DMs back in the day. It was one of the first modules to supplement the adventure itself with new rules, monsters, artifacts, and the like. The adventure is a conflict between the forces of the good god Mitra and the evil god Set, and Jaquays spent 13 pages of the original 69-page book on stats and background for the Lions of Mitra and the Sons of Set, including their magic items and artifacts.

The folks over at Goodman Games have revived this classic with their latest release, JG3: Dark Tower. Newly updated to the 3.5 edition rules, this adventure will take you from the village of Mitra's Fist and into the four dungeon levels of the Dark Tower. Whether you're a first-timer or an old-timer, this is an adventure that you won't want to miss!

Goodman Games has also released the sequel to Dungeon Crawl Classics #29: The Adventure Begins. Dungeon Crawl Classics #48: The Adventure Continues is a compilation of all-new 4th-level adventures. These stand-alone modules will challenge your heroes with feral elves, undead fiddlers, evil fey, dreamscape nightmares, ghostly Neanderthals—and more!

Show Me the Money!

King of the Castle brings your campaign's coinage to life!

Our Price: $70.00
Unavailable

Most of you know that we at Paizo are very interested in products that make GMs' lives easier—after all, that's the foundation of our entire GameMastery line! So when we saw the new Campaign Coins from King of the Castle Games, a cool new company from Down Under, we couldn't help but be enthusiastic about the product.

So much more immersive than conventional "pen & paper" recording of your hard-earned loot, Campaign Coins create more opportunities for creative roleplaying as you actually hand over cash at your local tavern, bribe a town guard to look the other way or pay passage to the next exotic port! Campaign Coins offer a high-quality, "real-feel" fantasy-game monetary system with actual metal coins representing the various metals and denominations commonly found in popular gaming systems. Each box contains 121 detailed coins depicting four metal types in 1, 10, 100, and 1000 denominations and 1 random 500 denomination collectable coin.

So bring to life the filthy lucre that your characters get with Campaign Coins!

Filling Up the Empty Slots!

D&D Minis singles have been restocked!

It seems like months since I last did a comprehensive restock of D&D Miniatures singles. So I busted out a dozen cases or so, and a whole bunch of previously sold-out D&D Miniatures singles are now in stock again!

I also would like to point out that Wizards' final shipment of Angelfire Booster Packs has arrived. We have less than 24 boosters left, and once they're gone, they're gone! There are also a small number of Deathknell Booster Packs left in the pipeline. We aren't sure how long they'll last, so if you want to roll the dice and see if you get a Beholder, this might be your last chance!

Finally, we're getting down to the last couple of boxes of the Dragon Magazine Promo: Sorcerer on Black Dragon. We created this cool alternate paint mini to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Dragon, and it turned out to be the last promo we did for the magazine. These are now open for sale to everyone, so don't miss your chance to get a piece of Dragon Magazine history!

Throwbacks and Sneak Peeks!

The new D&D Minis are here!

To grognards like myself, the name "Desert of Desolation" conjures memories of the AD&D Desert of Desolation module penned by the incredible duo of Tracy and Laura Hickman. The adventure took place in an Egypt-like climate much like that found in Paizo's latest GameMastery Module, Entombed with the Pharaohs.

Well, Desert of Desolation, Wizards of the Coast's latest set for Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures, just arrived in our warehouse. Vic and I spent Friday evening opening up a few cases to launch our Desert of Desolation singles.

There are some great throwback minis that stir up memories of that classic module. Check out the Guardian Mummy, the Sphynx, the Rot Scarab Swarm, and the Demonweb Swarm. The classic Gelatenous Cube has finally been brought to translucent life, and some old classics like the Manticore Sniper, Shrieking Harpy, and the Umber Hulk Delver are back.

And for those interested in seeing what 4th edition is going to look like, take a look at the Feral Troll, the Spined Devil, and the Capricious Copper Dragon.

There is also a new mount mechanic, featured on minis like the Warhorse and the Thundertusk Boar, to name two.

So stock up on a bit of the old and the new!
