Sound the Alarm!

New Pathfinder Miniatures are here!

List Price: $6.99
Our Price: $6.29
Add To Cart

We've got a triple dose of new Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper so get 'em while they're hot!

A fresh wave of demons have burst from the Worldwound and threaten to tear down one of the wards that prevent that accursed Abyssal blight from spreading. If you're a Battle Herald, you sound your horn to alert your allies to fight that menace! Perfect for the prestige class after which it's named, this miniature is great for a militant bard or paladin!

Straight out of the First World with murder on his mind, the Horned Hunter is ready to go on a wild hunt to eliminate trespassers in his forest. Perfect as an opponent (or maybe even an erstwhile ally), this miniature prefers long walks in the forest and his drink of choice is mead.

And finally, out of The Shadow Under Sandpoint office game comes James Sutter's character, Kirin the Heretic! Antisocial, obsessed with birds, and armed with a couple of sharp daggers, this misfit finds himself traveling through Varisia uncovering some very strange things indeed!

Check out all of the unpainted Pathfinder Miniatures from Reaper Miniatures right here!

Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Worlds (PFRPG)

To Sail the Starlit Sea!

New Pathfinder Campaign Setting book available!

Add Print Edition: $19.99
Add PDF: $13.99

If you grew up on tales of red planets, strange creatures from Venus, wonders hidden beneath thick clouds, or entities drifting in the blackness of space, then your Pathfinder campaign is about to get a jolt from the skies!

Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Distant Worlds has been years in the making. Whether we first hinted at what lay beyond the confines of Golarion's skies with the Sovyrian gates used by the elves or an obsessed Osirian pharaoh's research in "Entombed with the Pharaohs", fans have been clamoring for more material on the planets of Golarion's solar system. The first appearance of a solar system gazetteer back in Pathfinder #14 only whetted appetites for more on planets like Aucturn or Eox. Now that I finally have Distant Worlds in my hot little hands, it's time to train our telescopes on these planets!

Every planet in Distant Worlds has at least a page devoted to it (even the Sun): adventuring hooks, notable sites, what an adventurer has to worry about when going there. The machine entities of sun-scorched Aballon dwell in the Cities of the First Ones, defending those that would plunder the ruins for its secrets. The matriarchal lashunta of green Castrovel ride on their lizard-like steeds in the city-state of Qabarat, trading in both goods and unusual knowledge. On red Akiton, the towering four-armed Shobhads raid settlements of Ysoki rat-men or trading groups of the red-skinned lizardfolk of the deep desert.

Beyond the warmer planets of the inner system, things take a turn for the strange. Need to sail between the planets—go to Skydock on the planet Verces. Delicate ecosystems exist in the asteroid belt knows as the Diaspora, mostly populated by the thin, bird-like sarcesians, avoiding such puzzles like the labrynthine Vacant Halls or the Wailing Stone. Travelers of the stars would do well to avoid the Eoxian corpse ships, piloted by the unnerving and amoral bone sages, fear the poisonous gases of Liavara, and steer clear of the cancerous moon of Thyst.

Constellations, comets, portals, spells, vessels, and new creatures all await beyond the stars in Distant Worlds! Check out all of our Pathfinder Campaign Setting books right here, and don't forget, subscribers receive a free PDF with their print edition!

Pathfinder Adventure Path #54: The Empty Throne (Jade Regent 6 of 6) (PFRPG)

Katana Duel at Dawn—For the Throne!

Part Six of the Jade Regent Adventure Path has arrived!

Add Print Edition: $19.99
Add PDF: $13.99

Thousands of miles from where you started in the coastal town of Sandpoint, pursued every step of the way by assassins of every kind, has finally come down to this final showdown in the last part of the Jade Regent Adventure Path!

Arriving at the head of a rebel army, the PCs seek to wrest control of Minkai from the hands of the tyrannical Jade Regent in "The Empty Throne." Hundreds of years of plotting and planning must be undone, and change does not come easy, even to the suppressed citizens of the capital city of Kasai. While the Jade Regent fortifies a stronghold for the final battle, the PCs must dodge foes while trying to seek the aid of the deceased rulers of Minkai. The terrible corruption that the Jade Regent has wrought has left many of them restless and violent, and other malign rulers of the past arise to stop the party as well.

With the Regent's forces occupied, the Jade Regent's stronghold must be infiltrated, but now is the time for the party to do a little skullduggery of their own. The Jade Regent and his allies have had decades of working together, but the PCs must pry apart their alliance, using their secrets against them if they want to reclaim the throne and free Minkai from his despotic rule!

Besides the adventure, in this volume you'll get an article detailing how you can continue the campaign beyond its conclusion (or what happens when it goes wrong), a gazetteer on the Minkai's capital city of Kasai, the final part of Dave Gross's "Husks" serial fiction, and an assortment of new beasts to drop into any Pathfinder Roleplaying Game!

Old School is Now the New School!

New print releases from Frog God Games!

Add Print/PDF Bundle: $44.99
Add PDF: $15.99

The time is right, and on top of the Hill of Mornay an edifice of dark stone reappears with this adventure from Frog God Games—now available in print and PDF!

Two centuries ago, a cult later known as the Black Brotherhood insinuated itself into the kingdom, becoming a cancer that devoured all that was good and clean. Sacrifices under the dark tapestry of the night started small, but soon, villagers went missing, and eventually some of the very nobles that had supported the Brotherhood. Open warfare between the crown and the Brotherhood erupted, but as the armies approached the gates of the keep—built upon lands granted by royalty—walls of green flame devoured The Black Monastery. Leaving behind rubble and the cursed dungeons of its foundation, the people of the countryside breathed a sigh of relief—if only for a moment. The hour is at hand for the return of The Black Monastery, its arrival marked by madness and murder surrounding the Hill of Mornay. Every time the Monastery comes back, though, it stays for just a little bit longer than the last, its malign influence spreading farther than the dark shadows of its towers.

Whether you like your mechanics old school with Swords & Wizardry or new with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, The Black Monastery recalls the old days when we didn't have precision-edged dice, laptops at the game table, or energy drinks to help us game until the wee hours of the morning. Lethal traps, horrors from beyond time and space, dark secrets and treasure await in this dungeon crawl and is easy to place anywhere in your campaign, whether you homebrew or run a published campaign setting!

Add Print/PDF Bundle: $11.95
Add PDF: $6.95

In Lorefinder, your urban fantasy settings are about to get a dose of excitement with the combination of GUMSHOE and Pathfinder Roleplaying Game systems! Fans of Trail of Cthulhu are familiar with the GUMSHOE system—a set of specialized skills used to find clues or discover more information about what they find, while still keeping the general skills associated with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Broken down into Cunning, Interpersonal, and Lore categories, these Investigative skills put more roleplaying into a GM's mystery adventure, and players can use their skill pool to discover bigger clues and better information to unravel the plot!

GameMastery Plot Twist Cards: Flashbacks

Let's Twist Again!

New GameMastery Cards are here!

Our Price: $10.99
Add To Cart

Need to make your character's life even more interesting, or want to throw the GM a curve ball? Our latest GameMastery offering will give you even more twists and turns for your roleplaying game!

If pulling out a pre-made adventure causes your players to cry "railroad", you'll be able to stifle those protests with GameMastery Plot Twist Cards: Flashbacks! These cards give players and GMs the chance to turn the tide in their favor, or take the story in completely different directions! Is your party about to be overrun by three sinspawn lurking in the swamp? Play the Phobia card and they run away, frightened of the fire-wielding sorceress or the keen-eyed ranger with a quiver full of arrows! Did you just barely fail your grapple check against the halfling barbarian last round? Try again with Deja Vu and get a +5 bonus this time! If you fall into the improv GM category, this is a perfect addition to your repertoire—your players will definitely keep you on your toes with these, but if you're a player, you can only have one of these cards up your sleeve at a time. Will you use your Magic Moment to charm a city guard, or will you save it you have to remove a terrible curse from your friend?

One of the best things about these cards is that players can play them at any time, on anything—friend or foe—but they're also incredibly useful for building up character background. Pull the Nightmare card, and perhaps your character saw beloved family members rising from the grave, or they are in search of a Lost Loved One, or perhaps you failed to save someone under your care (Regret). While we've included rules snippets for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, you can use these cards in any roleplaying game in almost every genre!

Check out all of our GameMastery Cards here, and find that perfect addition to speed up or enhance your game!

Cloak and Dagger, Clockworks and Deviltry!

New releases from Open Design!

Add Print/PDF Bundle: $20.99
Add Print Edition: $19.99
Add PDF: $9.99

Sharpen your daggers and grow eyes in the back of your head, because it's time to head back into the Free City of Zobeck with the latest from Open Game Design!

Growing and evolving over the years, the latest incarnation of Zobeck Gazetteer first started out as a centerpiece of long-time RPG author and designer Wolfgang Baur's personal game. Fusing many elements of eastern Europe, medieval Germany, and Grimm fairy tales along with a few quirks gave birth to this city of confusing alleys, kobold ghettos, and clockworks, and now it's fully compatible with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game!

More than just new gewgaws for players to add to their character sheets, in the Gazetteer game masters will find pages of plot hooks and ideas to bring this unique city to life! Adventurers coming to Zobeck might find themselves wandering into town during the middle of the River Fair, or repressed kobolds celebrating We No Work Day, but these are not the reasons that one comes to Zobeck. Sitting at the crossroads between old realms and the dark expanses of the Old Margreve forest, characters find themselves gazing in wonder at the clockworks that are slowly gaining a foothold in Zobeck's industry, or to study the vastness of the night with star and shadow magic. New relics and magic items that build upon the cosmopolitan nature of the city are found in its markets, as are new artisans seeking noble patrons. Courtesans and cutthroats, magic and mysteries, danger and deviltry—these are just a few of the things that you can expect in the Free City!

In any creative endeavor, coming to the realization that there is always more to learn is a huge steps, and fortunately for every aspiring game designer out there, you'll have a handbook with Complete Kobold Guide to Game Design! Over 200 pages and crammed full of advice from veterans like Monte Cook, Ed Greenwood, and Mike Stackpole, this will give you insight on how to craft an adventure, what makes RPGs tick, how to playtest, and how to design your game from the ground up. This little yellow book will earn a place right next to your computer and caffeine as you ponder your next late-night game design decision!

The Chalice of Death (Trade Paperback)

Three Tales of Space—Silverberg Style!

New Planet Stories novel is here!

Our Price: $15.99
Add To Cart

Let's get in the Wayback Machine, to a time where fiction about mankind's reach into the stars was just beginning with our latest Planet Stories release!

In "The Chalice of Death," we've culled together three more of science fiction master Robert Silverberg's early stories. In the titular novella, the people of Earth once spanned the galaxy, reigning as a force of law and order. That was thirty thousand years ago, the empire long vanquished and forgotten by all but a few, and even the location of Earth is buried in the footnotes of fading historical treatises. Now Hallam Navarre, against all odds, must find the secret weapon of his ancestors or be doomed to suffer the same fate as his ancient homeworld!

Tales of roguish scoundrels are a favorite of a lot of people, and in "Starhaven," fugitive Johnny Mantell makes it to a pirate sanctuary, but may not be able to make a new home for himself there unless he submits to the mind probes of its dictator. In the final tale, "Shadow on the Stars" sends colonist Baird Ewing back to Earth after a thousand years to find aid for his colony. The cost of the aid Ewing finds is high, and saving his home could come at a terrible price.

Check out all the classic fantasty and science fiction tales of yesteryear with our Planet Stories line here!

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-13: The Quest for Perfection—Part III: Defenders of Nesting Swallow (PFRPG) PDF

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing!

New Pathfinder Society Scenarios!

Our Price: $3.99
Add To Cart

Even when garbed in new clothes, some problems are the same wherever you go, and with this month's Pathfinder Society scenarios, your adventurer will be defending the helpless and outsmarting your enemies in strange new places!

The final part of The Quest for Perfection arc is here, and in "Defenders of Nesting Swallow", the PCs have learned that their last hope to resurrect an ancient artifact lies in a small village beset by bandits. The collapse of imperial Lung Wa a hundred years ago left many of its nations disorganized, and the nation of Shokuro has regressed toward a rural state. Some bandits dream of something larger, and with brutal assaults on ill-prepared farmers, some are well on their way to controlling the sparse resources of Shokuro. When a chance roadside encounter draws your Pathfinder Society agent directly into a conflict pitting farmers against a well-organized bandit group, you'll have a chance to prepare the village before the final assault begins!

Long-time rivals of the Pathfinder Society, the Aspis Consortium has made a mad dash to claim the relic known as the Hao Jin Tapestry with the final part of Wonders in the Weave, "Snakes in the Fold". Throwing obstacles in a Pathfinder Society agent's way is just one of the many techniques the Consortium uses, and this time, there's a whole lizardfolk village between them and their goal! Brute force won't work here, and the PCs will have to use every trick in the diplomat's bag to earn the trust of the lizardfolk and stop the Aspis Consortium's schemes.

Check out all of the Pathfinder Society Scenarios here and learn more about our Pathfinder Society Organized Play program here!

List Price: $7.99
Our Price: $7.19
Add To Cart

Time to get out your brushes and your paints, Reaper Miniatures has new Pathfinder Miniatures ready for prime time on your game table!

Kiramor, the Forest Shadow haunts the towering forests that elves have claimed as their home, hunting down hated enemies and defending his people from the threats that lurk in its depths. Appearing as a helpful NPC in our Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, Kiramor is perfect for the archetypal elven ranger, ready with a stack of arrows and a keen eye towards putting them in an orc or two.

The other miniature that we have is very familiar to fans that have been with us since 2008! The artist Trinia Sabor, introduced as a NPC in "Edge of Anarchy", seems to have gotten herself fingered for murder! As the PCs, you've got to find where she's ensconced herself in the labyrinthine alleys, streets, and rooftops of Old Korvosa, but it won't be easy since she knows all of its secret passages! Great not just for the part of Trinia herself, she'll fit right in as any character that gets caught in the wrong place, or as a fleet-footed acrobat!

Pathfinder Adventure Path #53: Tide of Honor (Jade Regent 5 of 6) (PFRPG)

The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend!

New Pathfinder Adventure Path is here!

Add Print Edition: $19.99
Add PDF: $13.99

Surviving assassins, an arctic caravan journey, bureaucratic red tape, and every variety of monster possible, the party arrives in the far-off country of Minkai with the latest installment of the Pathfinder Adventure Path—only to have their foe start throwing everything at them to stop them before they claim their destiny!

To win back the throne of Minkai for the rightful heir, in Pathfinder Adventure Path #53: "Tide of Honor" the party must win the hearts and minds of restless Minkans struggling under the despotic rule of the Jade Regent. A spiral of ever-increasing demands, done in the name of the emperor but in truth sating the Jade Regent's need for power has sparked some into open defiance. Outraged, the dissidents have fled to northern Minkai, and whispers say the Regent is mobilizing his forces to crush them before they can gain any further support among the citizens. Time is running out for the rebels, but with the aid of a few good adventurers, they might be able to turn the tide and make a stand against the Jade Regent!

Dealing with cruel bandits preying upon common folk, gaining the aid of outcast warriors ready to take up arms in the name of a true heir, and impressing influential people—these are just some of the tasks that await the party in the fifth part of Jade Regent Adventure Path! Unfortunately for them, the Jade Regent isn't likely to stop the relentless wave of assassins determined to eliminate the heir (and any PCs that stand in their way) before they reach the capital city of Kasai. Not willing to take any more chances, the Regent has called in allies of his own—ones that will not be swayed by the threat of death or eternal oblivion!

Pathfinder Module: The Ruby Phoenix Tournament (PFRPG)

Two Men Enter, One Man Leaves!

New Pathfinder Module now available!

Add Print Edition: $13.99
Add PDF: $9.99

At Gen Con this year we launched the new season of our Pathfinder Society Organized Play and themed it after The Ruby Phoenix Tournament. We then hired Tim Hitchcock, one of the main minds behind our highly successful Grand Convocation event, and set him to work. With the help of Mark Moreland, he’s turned out a killer event that we think everyone will enjoy!

Once every ten years, the cosmopolitan city of Goka on the eastern coastline of Tian Xia hosts the Ruby Phoenix Tournament on an island in the city's harbor. Infamous for its strange spectacles and exciting mix of fighting styles, the contest draws combatants from all over the world. Its winner gets his choice of a single item from the legendary treasury of an ancient spellcaster. But this year, not all who have come to compete do so out of respect for the traditions of battle or even out of greed for the reward. They seek instead nothing so much as red revenge!

Getting out of Old Korvosa uncovers a secret from far-away Vudra, and with this set, you'll get miniatures that you won't find anywhere else! Several varieties of rakshasa, the undead rajput ambari, cobras from pet-sized to super-sized, and the asuras known as the Beatific Ones are included here, and you'll also get the swine you need to play the rough sport of Blood Pig!

Release the Hordes Upon Your Game!

New Pathfinder Battles: Heroes & Monsters pre-painted miniatures now available!

Add Case: $274.99
Add Brick: $74.99
Add Standard Booster: $3.99
Large Booster: Unavailable

Ready to release a pyromaniac tribe of goblins on a sleepy coastal town, or ettins, orcs, ogres, mummies, and more on your brave heroes? Pathfinder Battles pre-painted plastic miniatures have arrived and are ready to rock in your roleplaying game!

We've teased you with production sculpts, tantalized with a dozen blogs with previews a-plenty, but now our first set of Pathfinder Battles miniatures are here! In the Heroes and Monsters set, you'll get classic icons of fantasy gaming. Axe-wielding dwarf fighters, elven masters of the arcane arts, raging half-orc barbarians, and sneaky knife-wielding rogues take up arms on the Heroes side, but these champions need foes to fight against so that bards will sing tales of them for years to come!

Beautiful, deadly medusas and succubi represent the Monsters for this set, along with brutal trolls, three-headed chimeras, gigantic spiders, and dire rats (something every adventurer runs across at least once)! But to truly terrify your PCs, there are creatures in the Heroes and Monsters that have come back from the dead. Skeletons and zombies make excellent minions for your evil wizard or vampire boss, but there's nothing quite like putting down a lich miniature onto the battle mat to make your players think twice about their next action! (You won't want to miss out on the next iconic hero, Seelah the Paladin!)

Sign up for our Pathfinder Battles case subscription here and get huge discounts on case premiums like the Black Dragon, or you can fill out the holes in your collection (or get extras) with our available singles here!

Pathfinder Tales: Guilty Blood ePub

Seven Sword and Sorcery Stories!

New Pathfinder Tales ePubs available!

Our Price: $4.99
Add To Cart

Even if you haven't already blitzed your way through all of your holiday book gifts, we've got a new batch of Pathfinder Tales stories you just can't miss!

Culled from our serialized web and Adventure Path fiction, these seven compilations of tales make a wonderful introduction to the world of Golarion and the Pathfinder Tales book line. From the mind that brought us the ever-popular Carrion Crown Adventure Path, our very own F. Wesley Schneider presents "Guilty Blood"! Set in the former captial city of Ardis, this tale tells of the cutpurse Laurel Cylphra and the terrible mess she got herself into. In the old country of Ustalav, the legacy of the lich-king holds a terrible power over the countryside and its aristocracy. When a caper gone wrong awakens a ghost bent on revenge, Laurel turns to an aging childhood hero to help put the spirit to rest!

Highlighting our other tales releases includes Amber E. Scott's "The Seventh Execution" set in the paranoid country of Galt, Robin D. Laws' "The Ironroot Deception" featuring Gad from his "The Worldwound Gambit" Pathfinder Tales novel, and another adventure from Dave Gross starring his dynamic duo, Count Varian Jeggare and his hellspawn bodyguard Radovan in "A Passage to Absalom"!

We're still running our Pathfinder Tales Three-for-All sale, which means that until the end of January, you'll be able to buy any two Pathfinder Tales print books or digital versions and get a third one for free! And our Holiday 2011 discount is still good as well so drop in and check out all of our Pathfinder Tales stories here!

Don't Eat the Faerie Food!

New Pathfinder RPG supplements from Super Genius Games!

Our Price: $3.99
Add To Cart

There are a lot of rules when dealing with the fey—these dwellers of fen and dell are full of quirks, and with the latest offering from Super Genius Games, you'll be able to add them without fear to your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game!

In Mythic Menagerie: Faeries of the Fringe, the Geniuses deal with the fey that are even further off the beaten path than the commonly known dryads, pixies, satyrs, and sprites! Charnel-kin from rural graveyards, the cat fey known as cait sith, black swans, and river mothers are some of the new creatures that you'll find in this PDF, along with feats that grants new bonuses or give the ability to grant blessings to those that leave a proper offering (milk and bread, for those that are curious).

Urban fantasy games are fun, exciting changes from typical dungeon-crawling affairs, but not all character classes are created equal when solving crimes! Anachronistic Adventurers: The Investigator takes a bite out of crime with its all-new base class, and with such talents like canny maneuvers and canny strikes, you'll be able to use your wits to defeat foes and use obscure knowledge to solve mysteries! Included are archetypes like medical examiner and inventor to give you even more options for the investigator class.

Last, we have two Bullet Point PDFs! Short and sweet, these PDFs give you an appetizer-sized addition to your game that takes a simple concept and giving you more options for your game! 7 Time Thief & Time Warden Feats presents new choices for these popular classes, while the FREE 8 Dragonrider Feats give you more alternatives when sailing through the sky on your draconic ally!

Twenty Crafty, Creative, Cunning Kobolds!

Get the latest issue of Kobold Quarterly!

Add Print Edition: $8.99
Add PDF: $5.99

If you're yearning for new reading material covering multiple game systems, the latest delivery from Open Design has arrived in our warehouse!

Hot off the presses, Kobold Quarterly #20 dives right into Pathfinder material with a new base class: the elven archer! This classic archetype of fantasy literature gives you the bond with nature that you'd expect from these fleet-footed, eagle-eyed snipers, as well as the ability to boost their bows with magical abilities. Perfect for outfitting your elven archer, "Arrows of the Arbonesse" details some of the magical items you might find in the forested canopies of the Midgard Campaign Setting.

Far from the light of the surface, the insane derro perform strange experiments, and "Derro Ooze Magic" gives you equally strange new options for your arcane caster! Wizards now have the option to select the Ooze school (complete with ooze form at 8th level and ooze familiars), new spells, a bloodline—great new choices for either a villain or your next PC!

Summoning monsters from another realm of existence should be more than just stating an action during play. After all, with the planar ally spells, you're paying a high price for their services—shouldn't they get more than just a page reference from the Bestiary? "Servants from Beyond" gives you four examples of allies, such as the penance-seeking ghost paladin or the greedy fire mephit, that you can add to your game and give summoning creatures an extra bit of excitement!

Articles by Monte Cook, a Pathfinder adventure by Christina Stiles, new monsters like the dire naked mole rat (really!), special Pathfinder feats for middle-aged characters, new character options for the AGE system, and racial utility powers for 4th edition—just a taste of what awaits you in Kobold Quarterly #20!

Check out all of Kobold Quarterly's back issues here and the rest of Open Design's books here!

Pathfinder Tales: Death's Heretic

Pathfinder Tales Three-for-All!

Special Pathfinder Tales sale!

Add Print Edition: $9.99
Add PDF/ePub: $6.99

Barnes & Noble's SciFi and Fantasy Blog recently published their Best Fantasy Releases of 2011, and we were thrilled to find our own James L. Sutter's debut Pathfinder Tales novel, Death's Heretic, named as the #3 best fantasy release of 2011, leading a pack of favorites such as Terry Pratchett and R.A. Salvatore! And fellow Pathfinder Tales author Howard Andrew Jones (Plague of Shadows) came in at #4 with his non-Pathfinder novel Desert of Souls!

To celebrate James' taking the number three spot, we're offering the Pathfinder Tales Three-for-All sale! Until the end of January, for every two Pathfinder Tales novels you purchase—whether in print or PDF/ePub—you'll get the third for free. Or purchase any two Pathfinder Tales short fiction ePubs and get the third for free. Just add them to your cart, and we'll discount the lowest-priced qualifying item at checkout.

Of course, you can use this opportunity to pick up James' Death's Heretic, where we're introduced to warrior Salim Ghadafar, one-time resident of the nation of Rahadoum, a place where worship of the gods is forbidden. Yet Salim is bound to the service of Pharasma, the goddess of death, and is sent on a mission to find out what happened to the soul of a wealthy merchant who had made arrangements for an untimely demise. With a journey spanning not only the desert nation of Thuvia, but leading to the very doorstep of deities in the Great Beyond, this Pathfinder Tales novel gives you a great taste of what you'll find on our world of Golarion! (And don't miss "Faithful Servants," James' free web fiction, which gives you a story of Salim's earlier days!)

Or you can catch up on all the adventures of Count Varian Jeggare and Radovan (first introduced in Dave Gross' "The Lost Pathfinder" and Prince of Wolves), meet the half-elven Pathfinder Channa-Ti as she searches for a lost treasure in Elaine Cunningham's "Dark Tapestry," or follow along with the elf Elyana as she searches for a curse on her old comrade with Howard's Plague of Shadows!

Check out all of our Pathfinder Tales novels and short fiction—and don't forget to check back every Wednesday for a free Pathfinder Tales web fiction release on the Paizo blog!

Open Your Mind!

New Third-Party Pathfinder RPG PDFs!

Our Price: $3.99
Add To Cart

Every now and then, we like to shine the spotlight on some third-party publishers that you may not have heard about yet as they just might have the material you need for your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game tonight!

Psionics have gotten a rough reputation throughout fantasy roleplaying game history—is it magic, or is it science? Is it overpowered, or is it just what the doctor ordered? We won't dive into that particular argument, but Dreamscarred Press has taken up the banner to support psionics in the Pathfinder system! Their latest release, Psionics Expanded: Pawns and Powers gives you new psionic material like the tactician base class, advanced psion disciplines and an ever-expanding selection of feats, powers, and psionic items for your existing characters to choose from! The fourth of six releases building towards the upcoming Advanced Psionics Guide, you won't want to miss this expansion to Psionics Unleashed!

With their release of Modern Path, Game Room Creations has taken on the task of making Pathfinder RPG-compatible supplements for a modern setting, and their latest PDF gives you magic! With Modern Path: Arcana of the Modern World, we're introduced to the Arcana Hero class, with supporting material like feats, traits, talents, and more to bring magical archetypes to a modern era.

Like modern settings (and psionic rules), high- and epic-level play sometimes meet resistance at the game table, but that hasn't stopped Little Red Goblin Games! Legendary Levels looks to tackle the game beyond 20th level, looking at true dweomers, prestige classes, and bigger-than-Colossal creatures! (Be sure to check out their Tome of Bizzare as well!)

Keeping it simple may sound easy, but in practice, teaching a roleplaying game to someone who's never played before is hard work! In Basic Paths: Fangs from the Past, the village of Gafolweed has a bitter history, one that is coming back to haunt them. Oone Games aims this adventure at beginning players—and game masters—and with great maps, art, and new monsters, there's a lot to love!

EN Publishing has released the second part of their Zeitgeist adventure path, "The Dying Skyseer!" In this volume, the party starts to uncover the conspiracy at the heart of this adventure after investigating a murder at a consulate. As adventurers are wont to do, they start poking their noses into things better left alone, and their new-found enemies will do much to ensure that plans are not revealed ahead of time. They've also released a new tack—on mass combat options with Warfare for Beginners!

Finally, if you want to head to the stars and run a new kind of Pathfinder game, check out Veil of Truth! Space opera has always been a fascinating genre, and Eridanus Books takes you to the very edge of the solar system—too bad something was already waiting out there... With four alternate classes, new feats, and a cargo hold worth of equipment, familiar rules are given a new setting to explore!

We keep getting more and more Pathfinder RPG publishers every month—check out all of the Pathfinder RPG-compatible material here!

Set the Stage for Your Next Disaster the Rite Way!

New PDF releases from Rite Publishing!

Our Price: $5.99
Add To Cart

Are you ready for some bone-chilling maps and new Pathfinder Roleplaying Game material this month from Rite Publishing?

Sometimes the toughest part of any encounter that an adventurer will face is not the beast lurking just out of sight, nor the dragon with a belly full of fire—it's the environment itself! With 101 Hazards and Disasters, you'll get entirely new encounters that your PCs might not be able to defeat with a strong sword arm or magic! With such familiar-to-gamers hazards like flame spurts (you'll have to get some R.o.U.S.s elsewhere), maelstroms, and meteorite strikes as well as new ones like luddite ore and magebane moss, you'll have all the tools needed to deck out that villain's holdout you're building for Friday's game night!

Rite's other big release this month delves into new options for the oracle class! In The Secrets of the Oracle, new mysteries like Darkness, Primeval, and Rot give your oracle power over the shadows, and the ability to tap into ancient lore long forgotten by modern races. Unfortunately for oracles, such divine powers come with a price, and new curses like emotionless and technical ineptitude give you great new roleplaying choices, while new archetypes like the crone and mad prophet take the oracle in exciting new directions!

Fantastic Maps has released not one, but four new maps this month (including the Breaking of Forstor Nagar Bundle), but for the game masters getting ready for Skull & Shackles, you'll want to check out Fantastic Maps: Square Rigger! One of the few products to feature maps for every deck of a ship, you'll be able to use this in a number of different nautical-themed games, and Rite Publishing includes printer-friendly grayscale versions in their maps so you can print them out to scale!

With a free Pathways #11, another Faces of the Tarnished Souk, a Five Room Dungeon, and The Secrets of Forgotten Magic Items, Rite keeps releasing new and exciting PDFs every month so check it all out right here!

If your PCs did something particularly naughty in the last game, maybe a visit from an Angel of Vengeance is in order...or maybe a Skeletal Reaper is coming to collect a soul or two! If you've got a place on your bookshelf, maybe consider getting the hard-to-find Aspect of Tiamat or Aspect of Orcus to watch over your game—and serve as a warning to your players!

Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-11: The Quest for Perfection—Part II: On Hostile Waters (PFRPG) PDF

Run the Rivers of Tian Xia!

New Pathfinder Society scenarios available!

Our Price: $3.99
Add To Cart

Are you ready to brave the Tuunma river in far-away Tian Xia, meet strange new people, and replenish a long-dead artifact?

In the first scenario for Pathfinder Society Organized Play, we enter into the second part of "The Quest for Perfection" arc. In "On Hostile Waters", the Pathfinder Society agents journey downriver through the troubled nations of Kaoling, Lingshen, and Shaguang. Since the fall of imperial Lung Wa a hundred years ago, these realms have had a long-simmering rivalry that threatens to boil over. Seeking the same artifact as the Pathfinders, agents from militant Lingshen desire it for their own political ends—and aren't afraid to use every means at their disposal to get it!

In our second Pathfinder Society Scenario this month, the masked leaders of the Pathfinder Society, the Decemvirate, have sent many a Pathfinder agent on missions to retrieve strange relics from dusty tombs, but their latest find has unexpected and deadly twists! "The Dog Pharaoh's Tomb" will require your plyaers to use every trick up their sleeves (and their buddy's too) to get past the fiendishly difficult puzzles that await, and they'll not only discover fabulous new treasures, but meet an old foe as well!

Both of this month's scenarios tie into the ongoing Ruby Phoenix Tournament story in Season 3 of Pathfinder Society Organized Play—be sure to check out all of this season's scenarios (and more) here!

On the Prowl for an Alternate RPG? Give These a Try!

Check out all of these great RPGs!

Add Hardcover: $35.00 $31.50
Add PDF: $19.20

Sometimes you gotta set your favorite game aside, even for a moment, to recharge your creative batteries (particularly if you're a GM). Playing with another system always gives me perspective to tackle my campaign with new insights, and we're bringing a little attention to some of the games that we like to play around the office (that is when we aren't playing Pathfinder)!

If you're looking to scratch that fantasy roleplaying game itch, you should check out the fifth edition of Ars Magica! Available in both print and PDF versions, this system really changed the way many people looked at magic in roleplaying games. With an emphasis on storytelling, and long-term magical studies, your mage gets to discover the wonders and dangers of a mythical medieval Europe! On a similar (yet different) note, the latest book in the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay line from Fantasy Flight Games always causes heads to turn when a new copy shows up! A burly starter set with not one, but four rulebooks, special dice, and ability cards to keep play moving, the Core Set will place characters in the hands of fate in the Old World!

It's no secret that we love ourselves some Lovecraft 'round here, and the Call of Cthulhu: 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition is a great way to get into this modern-age, madness-inducing, SAN-sapping, investigative roleplaying game! Ordinary people facing extraordinary creatures can sometimes become heroes—or more often than not, part of a Great Old One's mid-round snack. Jump into this frightening world and give your sanity a workout!

Dialing things into the near-future, Catalyst Games has released a revamped edition of Shadowrun in time for its 20th anniversary, and it is full of win! Such an amazing setting now has a rules set that is equally impressive and innovative. And they continue to release new adventures and supplements (including info on those dastardly corps in the Corporate Guide) for everything your crew might run across—be sure to keep the Sixth World Almanac handy for game ideas!

Looking for a bit more sci-fi, then Eclipse Phase might just be your game. Newly-released, this RPG is set in the future, in an era where humanity has spread beyond our home planet, and what it means to be human is in question. In Eclipse Phase, each player controls one mind but many bodies—one body for deep sea exploration, one for infiltration and assassination, and another for social engineering. The first five books for Eclipse Phase are available here, along with information on numerous movers and shakers of the dystopian future, habitats on Mars, and even info on the Pandora Gates!

And for those die-hards that just love them some Warhammer 40,000, those crazy guys at Fantasy Flight Games have four fantastic systems that will scratch your itch: Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, and Black Crusade! Many things threaten the human-dominated Imperium, and each of these systems provides unique ways to approach those threats—all equally dangerous. Whether as a front line grunt, a self-centered heretic, an unscrupulous inquisitor, or caught-in-the-wrong-place scoundrel, the Warhammer 40k universe is in need of a few good people... preferably with a great aim and hale body.

We have a ton of intriguing roleplaying games here at Paizo—check them all out here, and pick up something new!

Get Your Classic Board Games Right Here!

Fill out your board game collection!

List Price: $42.00
Our Price: $37.80
Add To Cart

Many of us grew up with games like Monopoly, Risk, or Scrabble, but now there's a whole new world of board games to play. Games like Settlers of Catan and Carcassone were the first German-style board games to really take hold of the gaming market and they started a revolution. 15 years later, there are literally hundreds of games that fall into this category but everyone will tell you it all started with these.

Settlers of Catan, the classic resource management board game, pits the players against one another as they build roads and settlements around a hexagonal tiled board, collecting victory points in the process. Settlers has enough strategy to slate even the experienced players interests but is still simple enough for beginners to enjoy. And with a similar strategy level, Carcassone has the players build the board as they go by laying down square tiles drawn randomly from a bag and scoring points as they go. This exciting mechanic allows for a unique gaming experience every time. There are also numerous expansions available for both so there's never a possibility for a stale game!

Deck-building games have emerged as one of the hot new game types in the past few years and no one should miss the game that put this genre on the map: Dominion! A fast card game that is perfect for beginners and experienced players alike, no game ever plays the same. Each expansion adds great new options and opens up new strategies to players for winning, whether it's using the Thief to steal Treasure Cards, or the Festival and Market cards to gain additional actions during your turn!

Speaking of card games, there's one classic that fills the "quirky" and "crazy" and "fun" categories—Munchkin, of course! A crazy card game of deals and counter-deals while players try to collect as much Loot as possible to gain Levels and win! You can also customize your Munchkin with a variety of different flavors to suit your gaming pleasure—Classic, Conan, Cthulhu, and even Spies and Zombies to name a few! Mix and match your sets for even zanier fun!

There are a ton of great board games out there but the classics are classics for a reason. Grab one of these for your next family get-together or game night and don't forget about your holiday discount!

Brave the Black Monastery!

Preorder the latest adventure from Frog God Games!

Add Print/PDF Bundle: $44.99
Add PDF: $15.99

If you remember when dungeons were deep, caverns were cold, and elf was a class, then Frog God Games has an adventure that will chill your bones!

In "The Black Monastery", adventurers will get a chance to explore this mysterious edifice. Appearing only once every twenty years atop the Hill of Mornay when the stars are in the correct alignment, the rumors of what lies within are many, but the facts few. Stories of the corruption of the brotherhood that founded the hilltop fortress are numerous, and tales told by the fireside of malign influences poisoning the land persist even to modern times. Still, like a moth to flame, the Monastery lures in the bold (and the foolish)—to find its riches, to free it of its dark past, or claim it as their own. No big boss awaits in this adventure—"The Black Monastery" is a sandbox, and your players will get a chance to go whatever direction they choose. And in this place, they may want a reminder that "running" is a valid tactical choice!

Pathfinder characters won't want to enter into this corrupt site until they're at least 7th level, but if your prefer it old-school, you'll also be able to get "The Black Monastery" for your Swords & Wizardry game!

Check out all of Frog God Games' adventures and supplements here!

Our Price: $6.29

Old allies get a facelift in the latest from Reaper with this month's Pathfinder Miniatures release!

In the coastal town of Sandpoint, all the locals will tell you that Shalelu Andosana is the best guide to help you through the hinterlands of the Lost Coast. Appearing in not one, but three Adventure Paths, she's got an arrow for any goblin that crosses her path, and if you get on her good side, she might even follow you across the world! This latest version depicts her as she appears on the cover of "Night of Frozen Shadows", and is perfect for any elven forest guardian.

As soon as he finishes studying his book, Khalib, Runelord Apprentice is ready to open your mind to a world of arcane torture! Originally appearing in the final part of the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path, he makes for a fantastic wizard miniature for your game... but is he friend, or foe?

Something Wicked This Way Comes!

Two new Dungeons & Dragons releases now available!

List Price: $29.95
Our Price: $26.96
Add To Cart

Are you ready to give your players a taste of capital-E Evil with the latest from Wizards of the Coast?

With the Book of Vile Darkness, Dungeon Masters will be able to create truly despicable villains for their game, or as I like to call them, worthy foes for the heroes! Split into two parts, a 32-page supplement of player options and a 96-page supplement for Dungeon Masters, this book will definitely sate the darker side of your game. New character themes like the reaver, new paragon paths, a new epic destiny, and plenty of new feats gives player characters a taste of the evil without really going there. And for GM's there's a pile of new power options that will have the players running for their lives—these are effects that will haunt their characters for the rest of their lives! Also included in this book are a double-sided poster map of some iconic evil sites and sneak previews of characters and locations in the upcoming Book of Vile Darkness movie from SyFy!

And speaking of the truly vile, the new Dungeon Tiles: Shadowghast Manor pack keeps this theme alive. This tile set forms a large Gothic-styled mansion on one side and a spooky crypt on the other. Crafted from thick cardstock, these Dungeon Tiles are designed to take a pounding from even the heftiest miniature and metal dice and keep on trucking!
