When he first started in commercial illustration, Dave Nestler's innate ability to capture likenesses got him plenty of assignments for film and television. Always a fan of the pin-up, and inspired by such greats as Vargas and Sorayama, Dave also created a series of stunning erotic portraits that got him the attention of Playboy Magazine. It wasn't long before he would star in gallery showings, and command fine-art prices for his illustrations.
