English doesn't borrow from other languages. English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

This T-shirt bears a paraphrase of a quotation made by James Nicoll. The original quotation: "The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary."

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar This is classic!
Reviewer: Shadowborn

As an English major, I must have this shirt...even if I have to follow someone down a dark alley, knock them over and go through their pockets for the dough to afford it. ;-)

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar T-Shirt Color?
Reviewer: Lilith

Despite the picture, I received a heather gray t-shirt with purple writing on it. Still a cool shirt, but the color shown probably ain't gonna be what you get.

(paizo.com notes: the product image previously showed blue writing on a black T-shirt. Thanks to Lilith for letting us know about the problem.)

School is so IN!
Reviewer: Alasanii

This will so help the children understand the truth about English once and for all!

Ivan Mulkeen,

I'd totally buy this shirt...if it were available in black.
