Suh-WEEET! Definitely something to look forward to...but not interested in fastforwarding to it. It will be here before we know it. Looks like fun. Especially since it will give the Shifter some love!

I really enjoyed Ultimate Wilderness. Will be nice to see support for it.

if this would be intresting i hope this time shifter will be good.

Please tell me this book will involve changes to the Shifter that will make it playable and on par with the other classes?

Never gonna have errata in a player companion book.

Though if you want to have really great shifter archetype, there is Adaptive Shifter in Distant Realms book

I am going to assume that the new shifter options will be archetypes.

The FAQ for Ultimate Wilderness, on this very website, has those changes.

Most likely NEVER, as Ultimate Wilderness is the penultimate hardcover for Pathfinder (1st edition) and come august 2019 there will not be any new material published for it.

Also the pocket editions are always identical to the current printing and UW won't get a 2nd printing.

HI THERE MARKO!

MARKO!

THIS IS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU.

So you've stated that UW won't get a 2nd printing. Do you have source for that?

Because earlier in another thread, I've asked if you if you have any source for your claims that D&D 5e outsells Pathfinder 10 to 1.

But you, ummm, kind of never came back to that.

But! That means you've surely overlooked my question. Kein problem! Now you can answer both questions at once :)

Gorbacz you can just look at the publically available Amazon sales data and find that 5e is currently outselling Pathfinder by a good bit. Probably not 10 to 1 but it's close to a hard trouncing. Pathfinder is a strong number 2 but 5e is extremely new player friendly so it has a explosively large newbie market. The first top 8 books alone for a long while are exclusively 5e and you don't even see a pathfinder book until much later in the list. Not to mention you can easily see 5e commanding more shelf space in book stores and the subscriber count for the 5e reddit community is easily double pathfinder's.

But if you want a little bit of data: Here and here

On Amazon.

As for local shops anecdotes pathfinder takes up more space around here, simply by having more products. And this is without getting into PDF sales.

The point of Gorbacz rebuttal though, is that Marco commonly likes to deal with exacts without actually having the facts.

I'm perfectly aware of that. I'm also aware that Amazon isn't the end of all things, especially with Paizo having its own storefront and subs. And I can't see 5e commanding more shelf space in book stores because over here in Eastern Europe, we don't have book stores. We've just learned to read and write last decade, give us a moment will ya?

But what I was really after is having Marco for once back up his categorical statements with anything, because he has a highly amusing knack for stating things like "This will cost 20 USD" or "that will never be released" and then running away once anybody asks for a source.

Ahhh I see. I gotcha.
