Erodaemon pawn!!!

Finally!!! Feb 2018? Blagggghhh!!!! Wow. That's a long way off. After the Box 5 pawns came out one month after the book, I was hoping for something similar with Box 6.

At least that gives us something to look forward to.

(Echoing a post from another pawn discussion board -- but this is important enough to me that I want to make sure I know in each case.)

Are these pawns going to have identifying marks on them, like most of the pawn sets, or are they going to follow in the (very unfortunate) mode of Heroes & Villains and only have art?

Pawn sets without identifying information on them are useless to me. I need to be able to organize pawns, as there are so many of them. Just art is not enough.

Seeing as how they are coming from a single supplement that already has all of their creatures labeled with identifying names I don't think you'll have to worry about this one.

Ehh... you'd think so, but they'd never removed the metadata before, either, so it really broke a pattern. It may not be make or break for everyone, but I would also be interested to know!

Well I don't know what all art is in the other box but there might not be any metadata for it the same way there is for AP and Bestiary boxes.

Regardless it should be moved back to the other thread or a new one, rather than on a different product.

Your most recent post, and this post of mine? Yes. They should probably be moved or deleted.

Otherwise? Asking whether the product whose product page we are commenting on is going to have a particular feature? Seems pretty topical to me. I'm not sure what I'm missing?

Every set of bestiary box pawns has names and numbers on the pawns. You really don't need to post this on every pawn thread from here to eternity.

Dark Archive

If you click on the box art at the top, the sample pawns clearly have the names and numbers on them.

Normally a no-brainer.

I expect this set to be the normal useful version with set list on the back and the pawns labeled like Bestiary Box 1-5.

That being said, i could see the usefulness of the NEXT pawns set Pathfinder Pawns: Traps & Treasures Pawn Collection having NO NAMES on the pawns designed to lay flat on the gaming grid. ;-)

Apocalypse Horse, Black
Apocalypse Horse, Pale
Apocalypse Horse, Red
Apocalypse Horse, White

Art for all the four horses, I'm excited to see them all. I loved the Pale Horse art, so I hope the other three were also draw by Ben Wootten.

Dragon, Young Crypt
Dragon, Young Havoc
Dragon, Young Infernal
Dragon, Young Paradise
Dragon, Young Rift

I'm really interested in seeing the young version of the (so far) most powerful true dragons, especially the young paradise and infernal. I'm always impressed by the fact that they are all large and CR 12 at young age...

One of the small bases that came in my box is red. My guess is that this is by design. For the Combusted, maybe? Or maybe it is a fluke and I got the one weird red base.... or I won a trip to the pawn factory where I get to meet the oompa loompas!

All of that aside, pawns are the greatest thing ever. This set does not disappoint. You may even get a red base... which means I might even break the seal on this bag. After a few boxes I stopped opening the new ones.

For those that already got their product, how good are the pictures of the young planar dragons? And for the four horsemen steeds? Thanks for the reply!

The horses are alright. The Pale Horse is definitely the best one.

The young dragons are cool. Three of them are downright cute, which I think is great for a young dragon. Infernal, Paradise, and Rift look like children. Big, scary, winged children, mind you, but the artist(s) captured "young" dragon very well.

I just ordered for the first time from Paizo and I am not sure if any of you would know why this happened, but for some reason it says my order for the Bestiary Box 6 is "expected to ship mid May" in "my subscriptions" tab. This is really strange, it originally told me it would come in about 10 days after I placed the order. Is this an error, or do I really have to wait for months to get this?

HighlanderSmith - I think you'd be more likely to get a meaningful answer if you post this question on the Customer Service board (topmost topic of the Messageboards page). I would definitely not expect it to take that long to ship, but if something did go wrong as the order was processed, they might need to poke the order to actually get it into the queue.

Yeah, my small bases package came with a red base too, but the rest is 10 black bases. In fact, my medium base package came with 5 bases while the huge base package came with 2 bases. Has the number of bases been reduced, or did Paizo boxed up the wrong number (too few) in my box?

Mine came with one blue base and 10 black ones, 5 medium bases, and 2 large bases. There's legit a production issue there. I own every other boxed set and I don't actually plan to open the bases for this set so it doesn't really affect me.
