Thank you, Rick!

For those interested, the kyubi paragon is a prestige class designed for use by anyone who wants to capitalize on their Magical Tail feats. As you level up, you gain more tails as well as special magical abilities that play off of mythological folklore involving kyubi from China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. This includes powers that expand upon existing kitsune feats (use Realistic Likeness to turn into an elf! Or Fox Shape to assume the form of a pipefox), new spell-like abilities (I KNOW you've always wanted to possess someone), and stuff that just seemed cool and useful (all of your tails become prehensile and have capabilities similar to that of an unseen servant spell).

Overall, it's a wacky prestige class that will REALLY make you feel like a fantastic magical critter, even if you're otherwise a fighter. (Which you can totally do.)

Had a quick flick through, love the artwork, like the tricks system and the tail division, will have a proper read and post a review

Thank you! I really like Brandon's work too. Sadly, he's not taking any more publisher commissions for a bit; he's got a personal project he's working on so I don't if I'll be able to work more with him in the near future. Regardless, I fully recommend checking his stuff out at bchart.deviantart.com!

Also, I look forward to your review.

I'll be picking this one up, it looks and sounds great. And hey, more kitsune stuff is always good.

I mean, I always figured that people would get tired of kitsune stuff eventually. But that didn't happen yet, so.... :-P

I will have to pick this up, for reasons that will be obvious to Alex ;)

Because my dastardly plan of writing things based on what people tell me and show me they want in order to earn money is a success?

Hah! That and Taka'shi (the cover picture character), used to be my character before I handed him over to you after the kickstarter. To me this is basically discount character art ;)

Just got this one and I love it. I'll have to see about a review for it this weekend.

But one (big) question for Mister Augunas. What would be the best embodiment and a suggested set of tricks for a Kitsune-bloodline kitsune Bloodrager? Should they go with Embodiment of Magic to pump up their spellcasting or Embodiment of Might to bolster their more martial aspect?

Also, is there a name for the pretty kitsune vixen (I assume) wizardess on page 12?

I'd go with martial, personally. The poor BAB would likely hurt the bloodrager more than the lack of spell progression.

That kitsune doesn't have a name—she (like the one on the cover) were originally Kickstarter request characters. Taka'shi (who is based on Dragon Matrix's character) got picked up officially, but the other one didn't for a couple different reasons. Maybe some day we'll do more with her, but for now she's just a pretty illustration of a nondescript female kyubi.

Thanks for the advice, Mister Augunas. And I hope Miss Vixen gets a name soon. Re-reading your earlier 'Kitsune Compendium' still gives me character and setting ideas. Like a black-furred Voidkin fighter who refuses to 'play human' like the rest of her village ("I'm proud of being a kitsune! And I hate lying to people!") and who goes into the Kyubi Paragon class to prove just how much of a kitsune she is.

I just posted my review, and I hope the excitement I feel over this amazing PrC that I tried to communicate come through. Really, this is GREAT! You can do almost any classic legendary or mythic kitsune power with this.

Thank you for your wonderful review; it's great to know someone liked this class as much as you did. I spent months agonizing over it and slaving over rules balance and whatnot.

You did a great job with it, Mister Augunas.

Thanks, End! Praise from you is appreciated. This one really is a great product, too.

The more I read this pdf, the more I wish I had access to this prestige class when I was running my last kitsune (who as a ninetails). Though, a build using this prestige class looks like it would be unique enough that I think it would be worth making another one (not that I needed an excuse!)... I'll just have to hope that I can convince my GM to let me use it :)

Reading this, I really like the prestige class. I feel like I'd need to play it a time (or three!) to really feel out how it plays in practice, but I love the idea behind being able to specialize in might, magic, or skill (so as to make it synergize well with almost any class).

If you do let us know how it works. And if you like this one, check out Mister Augunas' earlier effort with a Drow racial prestige class that lets common drow become Drow Nobles with all that entails.

And my compliments to both this PDF and its author for hitting the #3 spot on 'top ten downloads from other companies' at Paizo this week. It's an honor well deserved.
