Are these pawns going to have identifying marks on them, like most of the pawn sets, or are they going to follow in the (very unfortunate) mode of Heroes & Villains and only have art?
Pawn sets without identifying information on them are useless to me. I need to be able to organize pawns, as there are so many of them. Just art is not enough.
For the APs, they have to. They are tied to named creatures in the AP itself.
Okay just this, the Bestiary Box and the Monster Codex box! I'll start buying them now...
Oh wait, Monster Codex Box out of print and unavailable anywhere in the known universe.
Guess I'll have to hold off on this campaign. :/

Glad to see the pawn list. I was curious if troops would be addressed or not. I've been using individuals pawns to build my troops so far and it has worked well. Had to grab some extra morlock and minotaur pawns from the secondary market.
In running troops I've been using the size as my guideline and filling it with the appropriate pawns. 16 for a hobgoblin troop, 9 for a troop of morlocks, so on and so forth.
According to the set list, there should be enough pawns to put together two Ironfang troops and one each of the morlocks and minotaurs. GMs will still need the Bestiary Box pawns in order to add the extra morlock or minotaur.
I'm relieved that Hilmer is included in the set as I was hard pressed for ideas on a proper substitute. I must mention that I'm equally saddened that Qa'al was excluded from this collection, as he has become a bit of a favorite mysterious Boba Fett type of figure at my table's Ironfang campaign.
The Monster Codex set has 22 hobgoblins, btw.

Yes. I have them all ,but was just pointing out the options for GMs running with just this set. My advice of "buy all the pawn sets" is never headed.
Ah, OK, gotcha. I'm working on getting them all myself. I still need 5, 6, and H&V set, not counting APs I intend to run (this one is still a maybe, we vote in November/December).
This product doesn't show up an the general AP page for Iron Invasion.
Most APs have the pawns listed along with the 6 volumes and posters.
