Sweet to see this, even if I "only" have editing credits.

I think I beat Drejk here...bestiary writer for the Sandling Ooze!

(Who did the art for it? Great job!)

As a bonus offer, we decided that for every review we receive for Wayfinder #12, we will add one additional page of content to the PDF edition of Wayfinder #13 (the gothic horror-themed Ustalav edition), up to 10 pages total. These need to be full reviews posted at Paizo.com, but in exchange, our awesome readers will get more content in the next issue.....

The Bylines at the front of the bestiary article are not in alphabetical order...they are in the order of the bestiary entries in the article. That goes for authors AND artists.

Alex Moore did the sandling ooze, btw.

I just want to say that Tim and Dain did an awesome job driving this issue into the station. I was kind of discombobulated at the end of 2014. Our fearless Editor-in-Chief pulled off another amazing feat of publishing prowess. And Dain's work on layout is always fantastic. Great job, guys.

Pshaw!! Paris did more than his fair share, folks. It takes a team to pull this off, and every single person listed on the inside front cover was part of that team. My thanks and congratulations to each one of those people!

I want to thank dodeqaa Polyhedra for the incredible piece of artwork done for my Spawn of Apep, and Andrew Hoskins for his editorial work, the usually thankless task of making me look smarter than I am.

There are a ton of art pieces that are amazing in this issue!!I will need to spend the next few days devouring this issue.

Bless you for the beginning box adventure. All the ones I've found out there are for 1st level and my kids just moved to 2nd. Having more options for that is a gods send.

JGray, be sure to check out our previous issues...we've been putting Beginner Box adventures in since Wayfinder #9. So #9, #10, #11, and now #12. All issues free to download, too.

Don't forget Garrett. His impact on the layout cannot be understated and he's a big reason that we got it out as soon as we did with all the holiday hoopla thrown into the mix.

...and I will hereby begin my secondary task of asking whether you all have enjoyed the issue ... and then pester folks to leave reviews.

Heck, there is even added incentive of getting more material in the PDF version of #13 if you do leave a review ... so what are you all waiting for?
</end expected review plug>

OK, that's out of the way (for this page of comments anyway). Enjoy the issue everyone. :)

Oh, and thank you to Alex "Canada Guy" Moore for the art for the board game (this is the third game of mine you have illustrated, isn't it?) and Basil Arnould Price for the artwork for Disturb Not the Dead. :)

Thank you Erin Frye for the artwork for Jaali and Hapuseneb! The portrait for Hapnuseneb is espcially nightmare fuel, and now I dearly want it as the paizo avatar on my GM account..

Wow. The one of the three which made it in is the one that I thought was the weakest. Oh, well.

First skim looks amazing, and I recognize the names of a lot of talented people in the bylines and on the contributor page.

Can't wait to give it a more thorough look.

Just skimmed through :) The stories and artwork take me on a real adventure trip!

Big thank you to Moonstonian and Michael Phillips for their stories, I'm glad to have the opportunity to contribute to them.

Big thanks also to the editorial, design and layout folks!

Thanks you guys!

I'll take a look through this during this week!

A quick note: The Bookmark for Page 46 is called "Bookmark 25." I think it was supposed to be called "Keeping the Dead Down: An Extremist Order in the Church of Pharasma."

As a first-time contributor, seeing my name mixed in with all those talented "regulars" was INSANE. I just sat there and boggled at it (The insane grin on my avatar is a pretty good approximation).

HUGE thanks to everyone who put this issue together, especially Catherine Batka who did the gorgeous art for my article.

Oops! Thanks for catching that, Itchy. I'll update the .indd file and it will be included in the usual "week or two after publication" update. :)

Everything looks quite excellent on a first skimming. Can't wait to incorporate some of the entries into my Mummys Mask campaign.

Bajaba's beetles and reeds has some very good magic items, and a rod that i think would've done quite well in this years RPGSS contest.

That was me, I'm glad you like it. Figuring out an interesting way to draw a "blob of sand" was a bit challenging, but I think I did alright.

I just downloaded the Wayfinder. I'm really enjoying reading through it. This has to be the best fanzine ever, in terms of adherence to theme/style! Keep up the good work!

So if anyone uses a Spawn of Apep, if you could let me know how it goes, I'd love to read actual play reports.

ONE REVIEW! That's an extra page in #13....keep 'em coming!

(And thanks Garrett....for a wonderful review, and for being a part of Team Wayfinder with some great layout there!)

Thanks to James Keegan, for the atmospheric artwork for my Embalmer article, as well as the one of the old man showing off his shabtis to the foreign visitor.

I've skimmed the issue last night, trying to decide order to read it, but it's difficult to choose. Everything seems to be superbly focussed on the theme, and nothing appears to be filler.
Some of the articles suggest they would work well together, such as Cole's ointments and perfumes being exactly the kind of items an Embalmer would craft, using his Master Craftsman talent.

I want someone to run a campaign in Osirion now, or at least let me port this material through the Mists of Ravenloft, if only so I can yell "Put the lotion on it's skin!" to my fellow players. :)

Sounds like the start of a review there, Snorter ... c'mon, make a full review and get us an extra page of content for the digital version of #13. :)

Personally, I think we should include a "this page brought to you by" in the bylines for the extra content that the reviews generate.

Art looks great for my Weal or Woe. Thanks, Steve Wood!

Still looking through a lot of the issue, but definitely lots of good art all around.

Nice review Oceanshieldwolf!

Seven more possible pages of content for the digital version of Wayfinder 13 are possible ... who will extend the goodness for their fellow gamers by posting a review?

Sovereign Court

So we're going to stick with only 3 of 10 possible extra pages of digital content for issue 13?

Get more digital content for next issue; write a review!

Got to have teh free :)

Ack, I didn't think the reviews would include my foreword! I tried to follow the guidelines Tim gave me; sounds like I missed the mark. :-/

So, boys and girls... apparently I wasn't chosen to be in #13.
BUT if #12 takes a lot of reviews, maybe one of my articles could still be picked from the queue...
So, without any shame at all,
1) I will throw in a review myself in the next days,
2) I'm here promising to post something new (an archetype, a monster or other) for each new review that will be posted here.
Let's see if I can make it... ^_^
