Rummity rum rum rum! You and your crew hear rumors of a legendary cache of rum brewed by some powerful alchemists who live on a cay with the ominous moniker "Island of the Damned." The place is said to be full of traps, pointy-toothed monsters, and other dangers, as well as other pirates bent on acquiring the prize. Will you come out on top?
I wanted to give these adventures a high score, but only because of 0-4C I cannot give this one a 5. It is far too hard and punishing. If you don't have a character with a high WIS, it is about impossible. Hopefully the next adventure will be more balanced. It took my 3 groups 24 tries to get past that one and they all had to have a WIS high character walk them through it. Hopefully the next adventure will be better balanced...
This product has been updated with the following changes:
Adventure 4 Island of the Damned now rewards players with a power feat and access to loot cards upon completion.
Scenario 04-A: A Tale of Two Alchemists now provides instructions on how to use proxy cards for the Cyclops Savage henchmen, so the scenario can support 6 players.
Scenario 04-C: By Rum and Thunder now provides instructions on how to use proxy cards for the Daughter of Imerta henchmen, so the scenario can support 6 players.
Our organized play group just completed this adventure, and it gave us access to the deck 3 loot (which we already got access to at the end of adventure 3) instead of the deck 4 loot. Shouldn't we be getting the Dreamstone and Swordcane instead?
