Which books?

Advice

I'm looking to learn more lore about the Pathfinders and their society/guilds, as I'm wanting to add a pathfinder chronicler to my game. Is there a particular book that has more info than the other? Should I buy;

1. Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide

or

2. Pathfinder Chronicles: Seekers of Secrets - A Guide to the Pathfinder Society

or both?

Or should I wait till the Pathfinder Player Companion: Pathfinder Society Primer (PFRPG) comes out?

There are several free books that you can download from Paizo. The first is the PFS Guide 4.3 and the second is the Shattered Star AP Player's Guide.

Shattered Star has the Pathfinder Society traits from Seekers of Secrets.

The Field Guide was meant to replace Seekers of Secrets as a required book for PFS.
