They're supposed to be made available today, according to yesterday's blog, and it's only 6:30 in the morning there...

I'd assume late afternoon/early evening before they're posted if they're like other PFS files for release time.

This weekend I'm going to be running 0-07 Among the Dead and 0-49 Among the Living; I can't wait to see the new objectives!!

I'm a bit worried that this new trend will cause players to become disconnected from their factions, but I'll probably give them the old faction missions "for fun" if they seem relevant, appropriate, and not too omniscient.

I'd have been fine with a late release like they do the scenarios, but the blog post said that all games started on October 1 are to use the document which is currently unavailable. Which naturally affects those of us about to run a game.

Then I guess that makes me no one! But if I'm no one and no one's perfect... well, you can figure the rest!

Works out for you, since that means you'll be able to run your game perfectly without even having to look at this document!

Ahhh... don't be like that. You're "someone" to your players. As a GM, that's all that counts.

Seriously, I expect it soon... I want to see what they've come up with.

You're in luck, those two missions are easy to guess.

Among the Dead - secondary: at least two PCs must be re-animated by another PC using Animate Dead or equivalent spell or spell like ability.

Anong the Living - secondary: at least two PCs must be brought back to life with Raise Dead, Resurrection or equivalent spells. NPCs can be used to cast these spells. Breath of Life is not usable for this boon.

Nice! I like your style.

I was thinking:

Among the Living - Enjoy the Opera! If no one in your party notices that the Taldan Opera is terrible, gain +1 PP.

Among the Dead - Who Needs a Rogue? If no one in your party has the trapfinding class ability, gain +1 PP.

Awesome job by John and his volunteers, as well as editing and art/layout getting this document produced. Thanks for all the hardwork all.

Verdant Wheel

I had an idea how i planned to use the old faction missions for players that miss them. I wouldl still give the missions as usual, but the players have auto-sucess in any skill check to complete their mission. It was so, so we could focus on the secondary mission without losing the faction flavor (as players gain nothing doing them anyway). But as some secondary mission relate to some old faction missions, its better to still do them the old way.
It was funny how the sczarni always disapear mid adventure, and the silver crusade was always helping someone, in 5th season we still could have this, but now the flavor from old missions is gone.
Maybe we can make the new hard mode, doing the faction mission and still finish the adventure on time. As we don't use the buttons for old adventures, i call that we mark the D button, for groups that finish the adventure doing the faction missions so Paizo can know who is still doing it.

A much better place for this document would be to list it with the Pathfinder Society GM Resources.

You're right. I'll see what I can do to get that added.

Shadow Lodge

Yeah, I had to hunt this down and I knew what I was looking for. It needs to be quite obvious for GMs.

Grand Lodge

Maybe it's because no one's ran the scenario since, but there's a problem with the secondary success condition for #4 The Frozen Fingers of Midnight. It says "Secondary: The PCs recover the Flame of the North and deliver it to a venture-captain." That item doesn't exist in the scenario. Do I just accept that it must therefore be the next best thing and just go with that instead?

When I ran it, I assumed it meant the beacon of the north
