Mr. Wertz
Could you please fix the spelling of my name as well. Mathew "thetwithingking" Stilson, should be Matthew Stinson, I know it was pulled from the inside listing; it's no big deal. No hurry and thanks in advance. Thank you for your time.

Fixed. Also dropped the missing space into your avatar name.

Not sure if it is my copy or not, but i've tried opening it in 2 different PDF viewers, and get the same problem in both; I cant read the numbers on the crossword puzzle!! They are super blurry, didn't notice until I printed it out to work on, only to discover this. Anyone else getting this, or is it just me? The rest of the magazine is fantastic, however. Nice work!

Thank you Vic.

So, how awesome is that Glen Zimmerman picture of the wizard and devil going over their deal? I love that pic, great work Glen!

Is it fine to translate wayfinder content and post it to a blog, of course with reference to source and author?

I would contact the author first, but I don't see a problem with it as long as you link it back here. :)

I have linked it to the product page of Wayfinder #2 in the Paizo store, but don't have the contact information on the author.

The article you want to translate should list an author for you. Let me know which one you're trying to get a hold of and email me (my address is in my profile).

So, I've a question about the Linorm Bloodline. The ice linorm breath weapon says that it does 1d4 secondary cold damage in the table, but the text says that it does 1d6 secondary cold damage. Which of these is correct?

Thanks for asking, Caedwyr. I'm glad to know that someone is interested in that bloodline. Sorry that I didn't see your question sooner. As there has recently been another question about this bloodline, I will post both answers, here.

1) The secondary effect for the ice linnorm bloodline's breath weapon is 1d4 cold damage and motionless for 2 rounds.

2) Additionally, BlackGyver pointed out that I failed to state what kinds of attack overcome the regeneration that comes with the linnorms' favor power at 15th level. The answer, as for all the linnorms in the Bestiary, is cold iron. Here's the revised wording for that power:

Linnorms’ Favor (Ex): At 15th level, you gain a fly speed of 100 ft. (average). You also gain the benefit of the favor bestowed upon linnorms by their mysterious benefactor. This favor grants you regeneration 5 (cold iron). The amount of regeneration per round improves to 7 at 17th level and 10 at 20th level. You also gain the linnorm’s full death curse ability. If an opponent kills you in combat, he must make a Will save or permanently gain vulnerability to your energy type. The DC of the save is equal to 10 + 1/2 your sorcerer level + your Charisma modifier.

As BlackGyver has suggested, I will see about getting these changes made in the bloodline entry over at d20pfsrd.com, as well.

Thanks, again, for your interest in the bloodline and in Wayfinder!

Oh but you're welcome ! I'll make sure to check your other works, and hope you'll never fail to find the inspiration for other gems of pathfinder-goodness, it's too good !

:)

The d20pfsrd entry has been updated with the new information, as well.

Good health and good gaming!

Dagnabit, BlackGyver! Your suggestion has inspired me! ;-)

As I type this, I have documents open and am working on updated information for the other published linnorms: cairn, fjord, gare, taiga and tor.

I'll be posting the updated abilities sometime in the not-too-distant future. "Like" my Facebook page for further announcements:

In other news, it appears that Caedwyr, himself, may have updated the d20pfsrd page. Thanks, Caedwyr, for your many, many contributions to that wonderful site!

Actually, I think I made my best guess as to what should be there and posted that when the Linorm Bloodline first went up. I'll check tomorrow and make sure everything matches up as it should.

I'll keep an eye on it ! And thanks Caedwyr for those quick corrections on d20pfsrd :-)

It looks like John was the culprit for the speedy changes. Thanks John. I've gone in and added a few links. It's a cool bloodline and I'll keep an eye out for other stuff you author.

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Thanks, Caedwyr. However it worked out, I'm grateful for all the effort you guys put in, over there.

Thanks also for your kind words. Not to plug myself too shamelessly, my first major RPG publication just recently came out from Clockwork Gnome Publishing. It might be something that you or your favorite GM would find useful.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

And, as promised, the new options for the bloodline are up. I'll provide the direct link, but I'd greatly appreciate new visitors and "likes" on my Facebook page, as well.

Cheers!

Linnorm Sorcerer Bloodline Updates

Okay, another question. The Abirai, by Dave “The Eldritch Mr. Shiny” Mallon, have some information on age related to the race, but nothing spelled out explicitly. On the chance that The Eldritch Mr. Shiny will see this thread, I'm curious as to what ages to use for the following

Adulthood
Starting ages for Intuitive (sorcerers), Self-Taught (fighters), and Trained classes (wizards).
Middle Age, Old, Venerable, Maximum.

Honestly, I never really thought about this. In fact, I didn't even remember writing the article until you brought it up. For the starting ages and age categories, I would honestly say to just use the same numbers for humans.

Sounds good. The race is now up on d20pfsrd.com, and I've updated the ages based on your comments here.

Hey, cool, thanks. Feels weird to have something I wrote up on PFSRD...
