Huh, this looks cool ._.; Didn't know this existed until it was mentioned in other thread that this was popular but didn't sell apparently?

Is 4 dollars for mint and 26 dollars for non mint on purpose? ._.; If its the case, I could probably order this without having to worry about customs :D I'm bit worried though that its error so umm, yeah, posting this because of that ^_^; Is it an error?

We discounted these to $4 a while back, but apparently the discount didn't get applied to the non-mint listing. We'll look into it.

Oh, okay :O

Well, I know now what to buy, just gotta hope that international shipping and customs for books isn't much higher than for miniatures

Hey Paizo, you do realise that you're selling a mint copy of a book for 4 USD and a non-mint copy of the same book for 26.21 USD, right? ;-)

Seems they've known since August 2015, according to the post two up from yours.

Blargh, I was trying to buy this book again while considering other stuff to buy from sale, but the shipping cost raised from 16,50 up to 44 dollars just because of this book alone x-x; Its really hard to justify spending 28 extra dollars on shipping cost to buy single book when I don't have too much extra monney to use

My epic quest to finally buy this book eventually continues...

Any plans to reprint this?

Likely zero. It sold so bad that at one point it was at 4 USD for mint copies just so anyone will buy it and clear the warehouse shelf space.

I'm sad if it actually sold out since I still hadn't had the budget for my own copy :'D

I find it absurd that non mint is more expensive than the mint version was though... Still is... Talked about that five years ago...

I'd get pdf version even...

I have a very hazy recollection of some weird law on how the price of non-mint items must relate to the original SRP in the US, but don't quote me on that. Basically it resulted in you being able to discount mint items however you liked but having to keep the non-mint items in some range of what the original price was. Lawyers, always making things more complicated for no reason...

I wish there was some pics or something to show how non-mint the non-mint are. If it's minor damage I'd buy it. Just don't want to waste money on one that's falling apart and there's no return.

I imagine that the amount of non-mintness is not uniform; i.e., they'd have to take a picture of each non-mint copy separately and let you order a specific copy. However, I purchased a non-mint book from Paizo once and literally never figured out what made it non-mint; I couldn't see anything obviously wrong with it.

Non-mint products sometimes have the following note:

Non-mint wrote:
NOTE!!! This product is not in mint condition. Non-mint products have typically been dinged or bent or picked up some other form of imperfection during the course of shipment, so we're making them available at a discounted price. While they have some cosmetic damage, they should still be in usable condition. There will be no refunds on non-mint products.

I’ve bought probably twenty or so non-mint products over the years and have never had anything remotely close to falling apart. In general, the worst it’s been is at a level that a regular book can suffer in transit anyhow. Like Joana, I’ve had instances where I can’t even see the mark that resulted in the classification.

Paizo warehouse crew have very high standards in this regard on both ends of the spectrum :

1. the most minor ding will result in moving something from mint to non-mint.
2. truly serious damage will move it from non-mint to unsellable

I’d definitely encourage anyone to buy non-mint from here with no reservations.

Well on positive, its unlikely for anyone to buy the non mint condition book anytime soon :'D So if I can't get it at 4 dollars with expensive post cost, I could still one day get it at expensive price with even more expensive post cost...

Welp at least the much more expensive non mint copy is still available :'D One day... One day...
