Every world has its watering holes; the places where everyone knows your name, or at least one of them. These are the places where characters plot their rebellions, conquests and adventures.
In some circumstances, these can be the sites of a group’s fiercest and most memorable battles; not of swords and spells, but of broken bottles and crushed chairs. If you’re a friend of K2 Games, you may have even witnessed one burning to the ground.
Mages, fireballs, whiskey, and wood... very bad.
This is our tribute to these inns and taverns; the unsung but unforgettable setting for countless adventures and debacles.
Contained in these pages is the outline for a tavern or inn, along with all the information to use it at your gaming table, waiting for you and your players to breathe life into it.
Also included are high-resolution maps, sized for printing and use as battlemats as well as a ZIP archive that includes hi-res JPG versions of the maps for use with Virtual Tabletop software.
There’s a table for naming the dens of ill-repute and even rules for running a business, in case one of your players decides she wants to contribute to the local economy, or maybe even retire from her life of adventuring.
The editing is completed. Some of those errors were egregious and I'm honestly embarrassed that they snuck past me. I'll be uploading the changes shortly.
The thing that I'm sure kills the file size is the print maps set at 18x24 and high resolution. I may have to consider figuring out a way to make those optional. Would including them as separate files rather than part of the book itself make things a little more palatable?
Would also including a version of the file optimized for screen viewing rather than print be helpful as well?
Cutting the maps in to 8x10 sections for easier printing, with some overlap to make lining them up easier is something I plan on doing as well. It will just take me a little bit to make it happen.
I genuinely appreciate your feedback and really look forward to creating more products that you will hopefully enjoy.
