Does this count as a "loose, unpackaged Pathfinder Battles miniatures single" for the purpose of the 20% subscriber discount?
It does now, and should have before. Cosmo will adjust any unshipped orders to charge the correct amount; for the handful of orders that have already shipped, he'll grant store credit to make up the difference—25 cents for AP subscribers (who got 15% off instead of 20%), and $1 for non AP-subscribers (who got no discount).

Just received mine today, and my 6-year-old wanted to know what it was. I told him it was a kind of ghost, and he declared it must be a plant-ghost because it's green and has roots.

Did any one else have trouble with them during shipping?
I ordered 4, and 3 of the 4 showed up broken; I think the glue used to hold the torso to the base couldn't survive shipping since they wren't shipped with a protective plastic holder.
I'm hoping that re-gluing them works.

I didn't have any issues, but the way that it was packed, the novel was protecting it from getting crushed

I had an issue with one of my two. It was broken across the middle seam.
