Unusual Suspects is a compilation of 60 unique and original Non-Player Characters ready to go for your game. Each NPC entry includes a complete stat block, full history, detailed tactics, and guidelines on how to use the character in your game. With these NPCs you can drop them directly into your game for a quick random encounter, or you can use their background information and the guidance provided with each one to build them into to your campaign as ongoing adversaries or allies, or maybe both.
Included among the NPCs found in this book are beggars and bandits, street guides and wilderness guardians, a crooked watchman, a dauntless sherpa, a crazed poisoner, a bastard heir, a mutant assassin, an exiled prince, and even one of Hell’s auditors, plus much, much more. The NPCs run the gamut of Challenger Ratings from 1–20, with three NPCs of each CR level, so they can be used in your game regardless of where your Player Characters are in their careers. Unusual Suspects is designed for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, but the NPC backgrounds and guidelines for use can be used with any fantasy roleplaying game system.
I don't know about any European retailers, but there are some that carry Frog God Games books I think. You might ping Bill Webb at bill[at]talesofthefroggod[dot]com to get the names of them.
This does use material outside of the CRB, but all of that information is available for free on the PRD (like the CRB is), so it is not reprinted in the book.
Of the 60 NPCs found in the book, Hell's Auditor is definitely my favorite character...
The auditor glided smoothly from the shadows, its skeletal form obscured by robes of embroidered velvet. The party reached for their swords, but the apparition held up one hand as if to parley. Its voice was a nearly-inaudible hiss. "It is my understanding that your group had a recent run-in with several Ice Devils. I have some forms that you need to fill out, describing your encounter." The ominous creature gestured toward a nearby table, piled high with printed documents.
"Huh? Are you sure you need US to fill out all those forms?"
"The creatures that you encountered have been selected for an audit. Should you fail to fully cooperate with my investigation, the consequences could be most... dire." To illustrate its point, the creature gestured toward a heap of scorched bone on the floor. "Most dire indeed!"
Those last three, however, can be found on "unofficial" PRD sites, for anybody who would like more info.

I'm curious to hear thoughts from folks who have purchased it. What do you think overall? Who's your favorite NPC? Which NPC are you itching to use first?

I am going to purchase this product because of this excerpt. FGG should thank you for the marketing.

Overall? Excellent. I've only just finished the first chapter and I appreciate the writups that get to the point about the NPC, the fact that many Paizo rules sources are used and referenced very clearly so you can check books easily, and how each NPC could be a hinderance or ally of your group.
The layout is very clear and the art is mostly good. The part about keeping scratch paper handy to jot down notes is spot on, lots of ideas spring up while reading the entries.
At the moment for some reason I'm drawn to Addison Richard-Durond, III. Not sure why, except that I would have a blast making him a pain in the arse while roleplaying.
Lots of care was put into each one, you can feel it. Still, some are stronger than others. Overall however I am very pleased with this purchase, it's utility is well worth it. I guess when I finish it I should actually write a review. :-)

To avoid confusion: My comment wasn't excerpted from the text, but was inspired by the character. Reading that monstrous NPC gave me several ideas about how I can use him!

I know that I personally love feedback like that. To see how puchasers can immediately own the NPC, module, or campaign and make it their own helps us to keep providing material that gamers want.
Thanks for the comments, Jeff. Addison is definitely an interesting entry, and somebody who I can definitely see being a pain in the keister to an adventuring party.
I would love to see a review of the book pop up, if you have the time.

I noticed one thing missing from the print edition. The spine is blank. Not having the book name on the spine is a pain when you have it on the shelf. Otherwise a good book so far. Glad to have print editions.
I have had this one in my hands for a while, and I love the book. Like others expressed above, there is a great myriad of characters, both good and evil. The layout is great, and even some of the new feats/abilities I may incorporate into my own campaign. We just started a new AP, so I plan to add in quite a few of these as random encounters or recurring villains.
For the FGG editors, I do think there is an error in one of the stat blocks, specifically Valnetor Dreimond. His classes are rogue 1/vivisectionist 4, but is listed as having only +1d6 sneak attack die. Classes providing sneak attack dice should stack, so he should have +3d6 sneak attack dice.
