With an enemy fleet intent on conquering the Shackles looming on the horizon, the adventurers must launch their own fleet of pirates and buccaneers to defend against the invaders, culminating in an epic naval battle at the edge of the Eye of Abendego. Will the adventurers defeat the invading navy and save the Shackles? Or will the independence of the Free Captains be eradicated forever?

Subscribers will get their copies of this, never fear! All available copies have been gobbled up by hungry hungry subscribers, so there might be a slight delay getting it to your FLGS, if you're waiting for it there. Don't worry subscribers, we've got you covered!
OK I'm now officially confused..is this in stock or not..if it is in stock then surely it should be shown as pending on my sub and not as a back order..especially as Paizo have already charged me for it.

Subscribers will get their copies. However, newly-placed orders may be delayed, so we must treat them as back ordered.
We have not charged anyone for his book you. You are probably seeing an authorization.

Key words "Subscribers will get their copies";"newly-placed orders may be delayed" i.e. subscribers should be on schedule.
So does this mean we are getting an ecology of sea monster's article with this or are we getting a whole second bestiary just for sea monsters?
The article talks about infamous sea monsters that plague Golarion's waters. It starts with a handful of brief descriptions of notable sea monsters, then presents three with greater detail (statblocks, past deeds, and adventure hooks). So, sort of both.

So pretty similar to the Spawn of Rovagug article from AP 24?
Funny they say have not charged anyone for the books YET my bank account Friday showed the exact amount taken for both my Equipment guide and my AP S&S 6 plus shipping. So how can that be, that you've not charged yet my bank account took out the money?
Edit... Actually shows 8/2/12 in the exact amount for both and shipping

Paizo pre-authorizes the funds when the "shipping in the next week" emails go out. Your bank may show that as a payment, or a "hold" on that money. When the actual shipment takes place, that "charge" will be dismissed and the actual charge (possibly different if you changed shipping options or added something, for example) applied.

They actually haven't charged you yet, it's just a test charge to make sure you have the ammount in your account and for some accounts it shows up as a charge.
So, will this month's products shipping start today or what?
(Not that I think I have a snowball's chance in Asmodeus's throne room of getting my PDFs on a Monday - seems like I am now permanently a part of the Tuesday evening batch.)

I never use any of the PDF's so you can have mine if you want it!
Okay so I know that it's been said that subscribers will be taken care of with regard to the backorder business. I can't help but notice, however, that, even as a subscriber, my August order in Order History has Hell's Heart labeled as Backorder. Is this just part of how labeling works in the system, or should I expect my copy of Hell's Heart to be in back order?
As mentioned, I'm aware that it's been said that we'll be taken care of but I've recently reactivated my subscriptions (August 1st) after a period of suspension so I'm not quite sure if that puts me in another category somehow.
Anyway, it's not a massive deal as long as it doesn't hold up the rest of my shipment. Just curious about the "Backorder" label in my Order History is all.

The "Backorder" label will only effect people who purchase without a subscription (unfortunately, we can only display it one way or the other). If you have a subscription shipment on its way to you, you will get your copy.
Okay, so now that I have all Six Books of the AP (well, I only have the PDF of Book 6, but still) I've decided to check the levels needed for each Part of each Book (I'm not going to bother tracking XP, I'm just going to let them level in between Parts, as necessary).
So, I'm a little fuzzy on just what's going on in Book 6. I'll put it in a Spoiler (as not to give away certain things):
Levels in Book 6:
The level descriptions are a bit more vague in this one.
Part 1: Start at Level 13 (no-brainer)
Part 2: Start at Level 14 (doesn't explicitly say this, but it should work)
Part 3: ??? It says that if the PCs are on the low side of 14th when they board the Filthy Lucre to let them bring along allies.
Question 1: Does this mean that the PCs are expected to be 15th Level when they board the ship?
Question 2: If so, would it mess up Part 3 to just let them Start Part 3 at 15th level?

No, it wouldn't mess them up to be 15th level when they start part 3. It may alter the dynamics of the final encounters because they'll be stronger, including potentially having access to 8th level spells.
The original turnover instructions were for an adventure to go 13th to 15th. In the text of the adventure it feels more like 13th to 14th and that they'd be 15th after it's over, but if you think that feels a little odd that's fine.
If you are inclined to have them be a little higher level anyway...
Spoiler:
feel free to email me for a more harrowing version that differs considerably from the final version for a variety of reasons. In essence, it involves a full-on assault on Fort Hazard itself, rather than bypassing it. It is not for the faint of heart... :)
Triple thanks. Jason Nelson has a history of writing too much for his AP volume and then shrugging and sharing it with everyone because he is ridiculously awesome.
The document was also quite illuminating as to how much of an AP writer's work goes unused- I can't hardly place any blame for the briefness of the naval battle when Mr. Nelson was evidently writing it without the rules from S&S5! Not to mention the Eye of Abendego events or 'finding the armada' which didn't make print.
Either way, the awesome design notes went a long way towards 'fixing' this adventure for my group.
I want to know about these new guns mentioned on the additional resources page for this book! Why must the delay for ultimate equipment mean this book gets held back too?
devil with a lot of water based powers - Frail, finlike wings erupt from the back of this serpentine creature, whose head resembles that of a ram-horned, four-eyed fish, and whose muscular arms end in masses of writhing tentacles like fists made of sea anemones.
A whale with big teeth and no face and looks like icky skin.
Firey snake dragon thing.
Big stoney medusa looking head with tentacles come from the hair and neck.
Kronosaurus
This enormous, finned reptile has a long mouth full of sharp teeth and moves through the water with incredible speed.
Nothosaur
This long-necked reptile swims through the water propelled by four paddle-like feet, whipping a long and slender tail behind it as it gnashes its sharp, needle-like teeth. (has picture the other two dino's do not)
Zeuglodon
This elongated, whale-like creature moves through the water with an eel-like motion despite its wide, f luked tail. Razor-sharp teeth fill its almost reptilian mouth.
Seaweed Siren
This creature’s three singing heads sway atop serpentine necks that extend from a bulbous body split by a wide, toothy mouth. Pungent strands of seaweed cover the creature like slimy hair.
ok I take that back maybe it is a picture of the kronosaur, I honestly didn't pay that much attention. I just seen the flippers and thought the Nothosaur, but looking again i think it is the kronosaur as the creature pictures has no long neck.

Argh. I failed my Linguists check to decode Mr. Nelson's e-mail and the one I tried to send him bounced back. Can I have another clue?
