"Yesterday's Hero" is an episodic novel set in the official Traveller universe, in the years 1200-1215. It charts the career of captain Lisa Davies from her first mission to the Battle of Nicosia in a fictionalised format put together from her own records, the official histories of the era and eyewitness accounts.

First accepted for publication by GDW in 1994, "Yesterday's Hero" has been out of print for many years and now appears in completed form, including the 'missing' story, "Devil's Advocate."
