Yeah, I've been using the business card holders for mine. They work great for the medium and large, but the smalls slip and slide around. Right now I have a strip of wide masking tape down the middle of each page to seal off the openings. So far its worked ok, but I'd love a better way to store the small/tiny pawns.
I just got my Bestiary Box and I think it's great.
I know some of the Adventure Paths are getting pawns but does anyone know if there are going to be sets detailing various monster groups (i.e: Goblins, orcs, gnolls, etc, etc), the paper minis had some sets like this, I know I would buy specific monster sets.
Either way this Pathfinder Pawn thing is a case of "shut up and take my money" for me.

Stick the larger pawns in front of the small ones. They should help keep the small ones from falling out.
Actually I just ordered a set of coin holder pages (42 pockets per page). They're perfectly sized for the small pawns, and they even have flaps to help keep them from falling out.
Got my two boxes in the mail about a week ago and LOVE them! We're gearing up for our annual Pathfinder game in January and digging that we'll be seeing more pawns before then. Thanks Paizo!
I'll apologize in advance if this question (or a very similar question) was already asked and answered (at 9 pages I was to intimidated to read through them all).
Okay, so on to my question ... I recently subscribed to the Pawns Sub (starting with Runelords actually) but would like to get the Bestiary Box at some point ... since I am a subscriber, does that mean I'll get the PDF of the Bestiary Box if I order the BB itself?
Mostly curious here on this one, I have a master summoner player and he has a fondness for summoning eagles ... right now I use small air mephits to "represent" the eagles. Being able to have the "hardcopy" as well as access to the PDF to print multiples would be nice.
Thanks in advance for any answers you can provide.
Dean
EDIT: Hmm ... reading the product description seems to confirm that I will have access to (i.e. "receive") the PDF as well as the BB itself when I order the Bestiary Box (as I have an active pawns sub).
But ... can someone just confirm my thinking on this.
I don't think so. I believe the free PDFs are only part of the deal if you pre-order the product; regular orders (placed after the product is shipping) don't qualify.
I someone forgives me for asking without reading all 400+ posts at this point.
Why is this PDF $25?
Does the fact that it is mostly art explain?
Is there actually any new art?
Does Paizo pay art royalties instead of just flat out purchasing?

1)Paizo's standard PDF price is approx. 70% of the printed copy's price.
2&3)There is some new art in the product, and some is straight from the Bestiary book.
4)Not sure, but I'd assume they purchase rights rather than royalties due to the number of times they re-use the artwork.
Hey there someone on the inside of Paizo, have you considered the possibility of a "booster" pack of the bases for the pawns. Something like (5) small, medium, large, and/or huge bases in a pack? It sure is something I'd be interested in, and maybe others as well.
Well ... I guess that's that. (I'll let you mull that idea over and see what you and the "powers that be" think of it).
@ Liz Courts and Geo Fix ... oooohh thanks a bunch ... that is good to know and a darn good price (in my opinion). Now ... I just need to settle my finances. :(
Okay so we have Rise of the Rune Lords AP pawns and we're getting Shattered Star and Skull and Shackles APs soon. When are the other APs gonna get some love?
Actually I am just kidding, you guys and gals at Paizo are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Seriously though, any plans to do pawns for the older paths? We're halfway through RotRL and I plan to run CotCT next, and the rest in order.

Skull and Shackles is coming out this month I do believe :) I am sure other of the older ones will be released soon too. :)

Oh I already know about the Skull & Shackles AP, Bud. :-) I can't speak for ghettowedge but for me, I was just kidding around. Paizo can release the pawns in any order that they want, they'll ALL eventually see use in my campaigns!
We have a lot of work to do just to stay on top of the current APs. Retroactive APs, creature type packs, etc. are honestly a good ways down the road from here. The better these do, the faster that road gets, of course.

As I said Mr.Mona, they will ALL see use in my games! So do it however you want to do it!
My Bestiary Box arrived the other day. 1) Solid box! 2) HEAVY! 3) Seriously good components. Heavy card, well-punched, no tearing like I've had with some punch-card game components. Once I'd taken everything out and unpunched all the pawns I had a hard time getting everything back in the box!
My only complaint (and it's minor, at best) is that the artwork goes over the edges of the pawn in some cases - a spider knee here, the tip of a wing there. Could you not have resized everything to fit on the pawn properly?
Ordered the Runelords pawns about ten minutes after opening this box.
Any chance of making the PC Pawns from the beginner's box available to those of us who don't have it? (Or those of us who - checks to make sure no-one's eavesdropping - don't play Pathfinder?)
Don't play?... Don't play?!?! BURN THE HEATHEN! :)
On a more relevent point, 2 questions.
What weight cardstock is used for this product? I will be printing off a pdf soon.
And is there a future for gargantuan and colossal creatures as pawns? Since I haven't seen the product yet, I don't know how much of the page a huge creature takes.
Is the PDF version still cardboard cut-outs, or would they be printed and then cut? Any help is appreciated, I am wanting to know if it is actually worth it!
