I've learned that a PDF series often improves from part 1 to part 2 and 3, mostly because by then the creative team has a better sense of what works. I seem to remember something similar happened with the Advanced Feats series, mostly as cover and layout improved.
Ryan is doing some really cool, creative work here. I'm also glad to see that people are digging the illustrations! I think Aaron's work really compliments Ryan's words!
This is a fun series and I hope people pick up all 7 installments (once all 7 are out, of course :)!
Wanted to read this today and strangely, the update to my OBS-library seems to not be working. I know why I'm usually buying my pdfs here. ;) (No bashing on OBS intended, just wanted to know whether other people also get 0 KB-files...)

Regarding bookmarks ... if all 7 of these would ever get compiled into a single PDf at some point in the future (note I said 'if' ... I have no concrete knowledge of if this will or will not happen :) it will absolutely have extensive bookmarks!
