The party stops 5ft away from the door. Dendillion moves to the front of the party and checks the door for traps.

Dendillion nods to Chark. "You've got the right of that, Chark. I prefer scattered ashes approach, to be honest. Tends to lead to fewer bodies that foul necromancers can animate. There are soo many tales of crypts full of the risen dead.

With Tiny and Chark both keeping an eye out for things, Dendillion opts to occasionally hum a note that helps him to find magical auras. He also strums a couple notes on his lute and places a hand on Goliath's collar. Immediately it glows with light. Switching exploration mode to Detect Magic for now, and casting Light on Goliath. That should theoretically give us light at the front ant back of the party.

Engineering is part of the Crafting skill, as it has a Recall Knowledge action associated to it. "Recall Knowledge about alchemical reactions, the value of items, engineering, unusual materials, and alchemical or mechanical creatures. The GM determines which creatures this applies to, but it usually includes constructs."

Dendillion moves in a bit closer, intent on peering at the collapse to understand more...

Dendillion gets close enough to peek around the corner, but not so close that he starts to crawl into the cave in.

Smarting from some bruises, Dendillion concludes that the remaining ceiling is stable, and that you're all safe (from that hazard at least)

Charlie helps clear the rubble off of Dendillion. "Probably why they had the room b..b..boarded off." He tosses another stone off. "You alright?" Charlie asks, helping him to his feet and brushing the dust off.

After Dendillion gets bandaged if he wants it Charlie pushes Goliath forward so he can peek around the corners to the left and right.

The catacombs here widen into a chamber housing a marble statue of the Personification of Fury, one of Gozreh’s chief servants. The Personification is an elemental, but they are a hybrid of air and water, rising up on a curling wave that transforms into a muscular upper body made of cloud. An iron brazier built into the stone in front of the statue is enchanted to give off flickering light like that of a campfire.

Dendillion gets an uneasy feeling in the room. His eyes go gimlet as he looks about. He sees nothing, but knows that the party isn't alone. Snapping everyone from their silence, he begins a song to list everyone's hearts.

The notes bring out the enemy! A quartet of undead creatures, too thin for life and with tongues far too long, jump out and swarm the bard!
