Teleported halfway around the world in pursuit of a magical pearl, Pathfinder venture-captain and master detective Varian Jeggare and his hellspawn bodyguard Radvoan find themselves stepping out into a crime scene. Their contact has been murdered, and only by joining Inspector Takeda and the serving girl Kazuko do the foreigners have any chance of finding the murderer and finishing their mission. But as the body count rises, and the mysterious tattooed gangs of Minkai begin to turn on each other, both men may find themselves seriously out of their depth.
From fan-favorite writer Dave Gross, author of the Pathfinder Tales novels Prince of Wolves, Master of Devils, and Queen of Thorns, comes a brand new Radovan and Jeggare mystery set in the award-winning world of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
Open Query: Is this ePub considerably longer than the others? I ask given that it's five times the price of the majority of the others. In the spirit of caveat emptor I'd like to know what I'm buying.
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Modules, Tales, Comics, Battles Case Subscriber
Any of the ePubs compiled from the adventure paths are significantly higher in cost than the compiled web fiction. Your comparable length (and price) stories are:
-Plague of Light
-Prodigal Sons
-Dark Tapestry
-Guilty Blood
I'm not sure how much longer than the web fiction they are, but here is what I can tell you:
-The story is 6 chapters long, web fiction ranges from 1 to 6 chapters (average around 4 chapters)
-This is quality fiction
I hope that gives you a bit more to go on in making your decision.
Pathfinder's Journal entries also get more illustrations than do web fiction offerings, so part of what you're paying for are more visual representations of what you're reading about per chapter.
