An interplanetary adventure for 16th-level characters.
For millennia, a complex plot has brewed in a demonic jungle on the surface of the moon—a plan by the patient and sinister succubi of the Moonscar to kidnap and brainwash the people of Golarion. Now a long-dormant portal linking the moon to Golarion has returned to life, accelerating the demon queen’s designs. Only the brave PCs can venture to the surface of the moon, navigate the treacherous Abyssal jungle called the Moonscar, and delve into the depths of the Insatiable Queen’s subterranean palace of torture, seduction, and depravity. Can the heroes rescue the kidnapped people of Golarion and return them to their positions of power and prominence, or is it too late for the unfortunate victims of the demon queen of the moon?
The Moonscar is an adventure of extraplanetary exploration for 16th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG. This volume also includes a gazetteer of a wilderness region of Golarion that contains a gate to the moon amid the ruins of an ancient astronomical research station, a detailed dungeon complex beneath the surface of a lunar jungle, and a brand-new space monster, all of which can be easily adapted for use in any campaign setting.

Now all we need is a 15th level module so there is a bridge to allow characters to play Academy of Secrets (13), Tomb of the Iron Medusa (14), ??? (15), The Moonscar (16), and The Witchwar Legacy (17). I can't wait to get Venture-Captain Nikolai Adonai to 17th level, it will be glorious!

... "If you aren't playing for Pathfinder Society credit", is the end of James's sentence that he left off.
LOL thanks for the clarification Mark.
James, I'm going to get a group to play Blood of Dragonscar with our PFS characters when we get there for no credit just because you suggested it. It will most definitely be a good time!
Richard Pett + Intergalactic Planetary = Pure gold
Pure insanity, is more like it! I'll better dig out my straitjacket before May... because once you crack this book open, it'll be too late... AAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!
Just got my copy of Distant Worlds yesterday, and was reading about Golarion's moon today when I noticed the plug for the Moonscar. So, naturally, I had to come here to the site to check it out... only to see that it isn't out yet!
Dangit! Now I'm going to be waiting in suspense for a couple of months for this one.

I don't think Kyle will let you live that long....
How interesting it would be if Richard Pett was the author of #1 and #2 as well...
Hmm, I hadn't thought of that possibility Ravenmantle, that could make things tricky...
Many-worlds theaory could make things easier. And harder.
I'm looking forward to seeing the moon. Really want to adventure on the moon. Actuallly really hoping there's some art of Golarion as viewed from the moon's surface, complete with a "visible from space" Eye of Abendego.
Then I must eliminate the authors of #1 and 2 respectively...
Apologies, Mr. Pett, about the only two products Paizo could issue that trumps a module with both interplanetary travel and Succubi for me would be a book that allows me to build my own races and another that promises to let me play a vampire as a PC.
In fact, now that the Race Handbook is out, you're tied for #1. :)

I know this is a hot month, but because I will be purchasing this one at a later date ... what do you people think? Is this the usual Pettquality?
I've only managed to glance through this, as of yet, unfortunately. However, the lethality and flavor really seems to be of at least the usual Pettquality. Demons in space...what's not to love? =p
Did this just get pushed back a week in for its pdf availability? I could have sworn it was available on the 16th yesterday. :(

Agghh!
Yesterday, I received a request to run a 20th level gestalt one shot this weekend. But, since my preparation is still weeks from being complete, I looked up this module and saw the release would be tomorrow (the 16th) and told everyone to make their 16th level gestalt characters for it, figuring I could bump up a thing or two if need be. All I needed to do was download the module and print it out (I hate trying to DM from laptop.)
I was kind of hoping for Pett since it is high level gestalt and I have head he has a high pc mortality rate in his games. it was supposed to be somewhat of a balancing act for the gestalt.
:(
Printing out Witchwar Legacy as I type. Should be interesting since the players generally shy away from arcane users with one (possible) player exception.

I have one question that is spoiler-related about the actual layout of the dungeon: how are the PCs supposed to
Spoiler:
get to area B10? I don't see an actual passage from B8-B9 to get out there. B7 has that switch that unlocks the stairs to B8, but then how exactly are they supposed to get from the rooms down there out tot he black glass outcrop B10?
