Paint the town red with Flip-Mat: Pub Crawl, a gorgeous double-sided battle-scale map of two tavern-filled street scenes! One side features several bars and taverns in a nice part of town, while the flip-side extends the scene on Flip-Mat: Warehouse to flesh out the seedier side of town! Both sides show interiors and exteriors, for when the inevitable brawls spill out onto the city streets!

This portable, affordable map measures 24" x 30" unfolded, and 8" x 10" folded. Its coated surface can handle any dry erase, wet erase, or even permanent marker. Usable by experienced GMs and novices alike, GameMastery Flip-Mats fit perfectly into any Game Master's arsenal!

On tabletops across the world, the Flip-Mat Revolution is changing the way players run their fantasy roleplaying games! Why take the time to sketch out ugly scenery on a smudgy plastic mat when dynamic encounters and easy clean-up is just a Flip away?

CONNECTS WITH: PUB-CRAWL, REDLIGHT DISTRICT & HAMLET!!!

*****

THE GOOD:
The "Waterfront-side" is the lower left of 4 flip-mats that connect to form a giant 48x60 MEGA-MAP!

THE BAD:
Nothing.

THE UGLY:
This is currently out of print.

PAIZO, please release this map and "Warehouse" through the "Flip-Mat Classics" line with explicit big colored text that advocates them connecting to form a giant robot, aehm map!

Pub Crawl Flip Mat Offers a Ton of Taverns in One Spot!

*****

The Pub Crawl Flip Mat from Paizo is exactly what it says on the tin. It offers one side packed with streets occupied by a variety of taverns and pubs. The flip side offers a waterside pub.

If this is what you need, then pick it up today. The art is detailed, the maps are sturdy and they work well with wet or dry erase markers.

***( )( )

This is a very good map for a street encounter and Art work is on par with other maps.
But I do have one complaint and its the reason I give this map only 3 stars. they took the term pub crawl to the extreme and every building but the Temple is laid out as a Pub for a total of 9 pubs!I they could have changed a couple of pubs to other businesses like a flophouse a cheap inn, or a place that sells Rat on a Stick I would be more useful

It's terrific you're continuing the practise of ensuring new releases tie-in with old ones. That change alone increased the value of these subscriptions to me by about 50%.

(I also think the artwork has been gradually improving since the line's beginnings).

I think I may have seen some Paizo staff and contributors who 'play tested' a larger model/version of this map at Gen Con.

For research I am sure.

Ahem.

I can neither confirm nor deny the extensive research and testing required to adequately put this map into production.

What if you live in public healthcare land? 15% of nothing is not much of an incentive. ;)

I've updated the product image to reflect the finished product and added sample images of both sides.

That is awesome ... nothing like an extra-huge waterfront map for a perfect chase sequence.

We just get a 15% bigger liver...

Is this map "coincidentally" supposed to represent any specific place in any specific product? Like say The Hagfish or the Fatman's Feedbag?

Does this map "align" with any of the other ubran mats, like marketplace, city streets or any other?

Well I figured the waterfront side would. I was thinking the less obvous possible connections.

After looking at the final map, I remain unconvinced that the pubs portrayed do not resemble any locations based in, on, or around the greater Seattle area or locations in the midwest. :P

That looks insanely useful - I can't wait for it to ship (mainly because then I have to wait for it to arrive here in Germany...)

If I did research for the design of this product, I don't remember it. ;)

That is the nature of such research.

How are you guys envisioning the one room on the flip side northwest corner that opens up without a wall into the sea? Is that like an open pen area without a ceiling, or did it used to be a proper building but the cliff has recently collapsed into the sea, taking the corner of the building with it, or what?

I realize that I can just make up my own explanation, but I'd like to hear some additional ideas.

Suggestion: This location is in Absalom. That room caters to gillmen clients and provides easy access to and from the sea.
