Semi good

Bought this for the exterior map. Not the greatest exterior but more than enough for me to want the product.
The interior keep general enough to adapt to any campaign.

Solid map

4/5

I like this map, but don't use it often because it is limited, but it is still a good tool to have in any DM's arsenal.

Does this keep bear a resemblence to a certain keep in Pathfinder #3?

Ooooh... I'll have to compare that little snippet of a map on the cover to the maps in HMM when I get home, but if it does, it MUST BE MINE!

And the wife would have to work very hard to hide my wallet to keep me from buying flip-mats of any other key encounter areas in the AP.

First, the image you see now is a part of a map from PF#1.

Second, since Paizo usualy put mock-up covers for their products, I wouldn't consider the image shown here as what will be on the final product...

I guess the OP was asking if the product will be the keep in PF#3, right?

Yep, that is just a mock-up cover. The actual art hasn't even been commissioned yet!

Fully aware of these facts...I'm just wishful thinking...if my PCs are going to spend time owning a keep it would be great to have a permanent map.

Still curious... is it Fort Rannick? Is it? Is IT? IS IT?

*hyperventilates*

Okay, I'm calm now. Still very curious about whether this is going to be a flip mat of the fort in Hook Mountain Massacre or not.

And whether there will be any (other) flip mats of key scenes from your Pathfinder AP's.

Maybe eventually, but not yet.

WTB Maps of the maps in the Pathfinders...... If I could cut out most of the "Work" of DMing out of the way with the Pathfinder, the Maps, and a few Item Cards, I could dedicate all of my time/research into role playing and killing characters :)

GameMastery Treasure Chest FTW!

And If I could get "Player Handout #X" cards, that would rock too.

Hmm. I'll see if production has anything to share.

Updated. If you still see a map with tags and a header card, reload your browser's image cache.

I had to go thru absolute hell to find one of these without selling my first born.
REEEEALLY wish companies would keep things in print sometimes because we're left out as chum to the sharks with the price gouging as soon as the words 'out of print' hit the publishers website.

It was released 7 years ago—this is not something that is intended to be kept in print (unlike the Core Rulebook and similar releases).

There is a constant newbie group of role players always coming into the market. I can name a dozen right off hand. All of them loved the Keep and the other out of print flip mats I have purchased.
Im not the brightest bulb in the pack, of course, but it would seem to me that since fantasy role playing is always seeing a lot of new players....customers if you will....that any really decent, generic product like these flip mats would be easy enough to sell to the each subsequent generation of new players.

Scarab Sages

My guess is, that reprinting flip maps is pretty expensive due to the materials used, and thus it makes much more sense for Paizo to publish a similar themed map that is interesting for both new and old customers.

my favorite flip mat. Had to pawn two of my children to get hold of a couple hard copy versions

Still hunting for this if anyone has one for sale... It's the flipside I want, not the Keep!

The Exchange

I would love to see this reprinted as part of the Classics line. Just saying!
