Once in the ancient past (okay, the 1980s and early 1990s) there was an RPG that set the standard for cinematic science fiction gaming. Included are chapters on equipment, weapons, basic starship design, space travel, along with Ship Recognition Displays of twelve different fleets (including the Gladitorial Axis, Albaron Star Kingdom, Zakaji Protectorate, Primean Commonwealth, Colonial Union, Jaenovian Republic, Regellian Federation, Vorwin Star Vikings, Sarlicon Confederacy, J'Garan Expeditionary Force, Promedian Remnant, and Maavus Cluster Alliance).
