This expansion provides players with a new mechanic, 65 new Center Deck cards, and enough basic cards to expand the base game up to 6 players! In addition to all that, Ascension: Return of the Fallen can also be played as a stand-alone game with two players!

The new Fate mechanic can change the course of a game with a single flip of a card! Appearing on Monsters, Heroes, and Constructs, cards with the Fate ability cause an effect to happen when they're revealed in the center row. The random effects can have big effects on the game, making every card that gets flipped into the center row that much more exciting!

Ascension: Return of the Fallen is designed to be a 2-player standalone game, or expand Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer to play with up to 6 players! With brand new cards for every faction and strategy and frightening (read: fun to kill) Monsters, the 65 new Center Deck cards will shake up the game you know!
