No. These are regular First Printings that have been signed. The auction features a very rare foil-embossed gilt-edged edition of fewer than 100 copies that has never before been offered publicly.

That's good news - cuz I'd be sorely disappointed to spend 150 and have it show up the way my Bestiary did - bottom corner banged in and crumpled over half an inch indent.

Darn :-) I wish i was wealthy enough for that samurai picture.
But then i think... hear me whining about a picture that i can't afford while people have lost their lives, homes and future. This way i will always remember when we start a game and grab that book that we are the lucky ones.

This kind of stuff is great, both from a collecting and a charity perspective. Any chance something like this will happen for Paizo's fiction lines?

I just hope that I preordered the book early enough.

I do know taxis are a bit different in Germany than in America. I've had to use German taxis a couple times.

Yes, provided there are some left at that point (and my gut tells me that there will be).

I cannot make it to Paizocon but if you have one left I would like to get one.

These books have not sold out yet but I cannot make any promises that they will still be available at PaizoCon. And I believe that these will begin shipping tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yes, it still goes to the Red Cross with an earmark for Earthquake and Tsunami relief efforts.

(By the way, the reason this is back up is that we found a few copies—less than a dozen—in our year-end warehouse inventory.)

How many of these were/are there? 10's, 100's, 1000's?

We didn't set a particular number, partly because in addition to the ones we signed specifically for the charity, we also signed some uncounted number at conventions and for other promotional purposes. In short, the number of 1st edition RPGs signed by the entire staff is not actually known (and could well go up if people bring first printings to PaizoCon to get signed) but I'm pretty sure it would be in the very low end of three digits.

The foil-embossed gilt-edged ones from the eBay auction... those were double digits for sure.

Before I buy another Pathfinder CoreBook, I want to make absolutely sure that this signed edition is not another of the misprinted books in my collection. My first 2 Corebooks were both missing spells. Most of the d, e, and f sections.

I quick looked through your order history and was unable to find any orders for Core Rulebooks. If you received a misprinted book, you will want to get a replacement/exchange or refund through the retailer you purchased it through. If for some reason, a copy you ordered through paizo.com is a misprint, just shoot customer.service@paizo.com an email with the order number so we can look into the issue.
