This has been on preorder for a rather long time; any notion as to where this might be at this point?

Yeah 4WFG had a bit of a issue when they changed to a new distribution partner so they could get their books out in print. I don't know they details but I know it threw everything out of wack for a good 6 months.

Ahhh, thanks for the heads-up; I've been keen to get my hands on this one, never can have enough templates to spruce things up. ;)

Yup, 2010 really wasn't a good year for us in the sense of a production schedule. It is still in the pipeline, and will be the next PFRPG print product we release.

Dark Archive

Is there any word on the production time table on this?

I will check with the author. We have not spoken of it since I took over 4WFG as I have been clearing up other projects.

Liberty's Edge

Most RPG products aimed at GMs are described as tool boxes. Tyranny & Manipulation is a GM's toy box. It is full of the same options that players enjoy -archetypes, feats, spells, subsystems- but designed around a GM's needs. It is not an evil sourcebook, it is not just a bunch of ready-to-use stats, it is a sourcebook of options that will tickle GMs looking for something different.

The manuscript is done and should be in Purple Duck's possession, but it could use a few new options (it supported all Paizo published base classes as of when I turned it over, but the magus and gunslinger have come out since then) and probably a revision to see if anything is redundant based on what Paizo and third party publishers have released. Shockingly, three years in storage, the majority of the material is still unexplored territory.
