You may ask: "Why is this map cheaper than your first one?" Our second map in this product line is different from the first one, "River in a Mountainous Landscape—I", insofar as it focuses purely on mapmaking (and of course it shows a different terrain). We added the above depicted 3D model which helps a lot to grasp all the terrain's possibilities. At the same time, we skipped the additional story seeds. This way we can offer you the actual map at a more favorable price.

Check out the preview to inspect our large format map of the terrain. It’s carefully assembled to reflect a GM’s need for exciting hot spots: steep wooded riverbanks to ambush the party by felling trees, for example; or a giant foundling blocking part of the river). And for typical sites also: a likely place to make camp, for example; or a solitary tree as a great place for keeping a lookout – and being trapped as well.
What’s more, there’s a beautifully rendered 3D model, great for showing to the players, for a full grasp of the terrain’s possibilities (concerning straight sight lines, for example).
As we already mentioned in our product description, we skipped the backing story, so we can sell our maps for a more favorable price. Still, we love story seeds. Buyers who do, too (and let us know), get this one’s backing story for free. We really need feedback, you see;-)
