Don't blame Paizo; they don't own Q-Workshop.

Or.... you could just head down to your local game store, buy a leather dice cup, and paint your own runes on it. Doesn't look like these are etched or anything, so...

We've mentioned this a couple of times in other threads. Our distributor provides us with all our information in a digital format and they have taken to putting in dates that are way out there for products for which they don't have a firm date yet. Sometime down the line, they will get a better date and put that in the system. So, I doubt that these will be 2012 for long.

I'm sorry Lisa,

I was really looking at this back in Feb. and almost pre-ordered then.

Not that it makes a huge difference but kind of glad I didn't.

Is it a small mom and pop operation they got going on?

Q-Workshop are based in Poland.

They have a basic biog here.

The factory burnt down in '09, which seems to be what killed off the Pathfinder dice sets, but they're still going strong.

Being based in Poland will keep their costs down but cause some complications with shipping (with their German connections I would guess that they ship to there and then distribute globally).

This cup is currently available at their store so I'm guessing they need to improve their US distro.

Thanks for the link. I might hit them up if they truly have it in stock. 19 Euros is $26.26 at current rate then the extra shipping....might do it.

Then again perhaps I can contact them and the'll bring some to Gencon 2011....which is 10 months away....we well see.

It didn't kill the Pathfinder dice, but it sure did delay them for a really, really long time. Apparently they're getting back on task with them soon.

Yes... we've even seen packaging samples (though as far as I know, not actual dice) for one that hasn't been announced yet.
