Brave the night and defy its horrors with the weapons and relics of fireside legends. Tools for both battling and creating gothic monstrosities yearn to be claimed in the Carrion Crown Adventure Path. This 54-card set of beautifully illustrated, full-color item cards allows you to track your newest and most fearsome treasures in vibrant detail.
GameMastery Item Cards allow heroes to keep track of their equipment in style, and this deck is completely compatible with all of Paizo's other GameMastery Item Card sets. Each of these full-color cards features a beautiful portrait of an item on one side with space on the back to keep notes. GameMastery Item Cards are compatible with any fantasy roleplaying game.
I bought these to make treasure seem more real to my players and boy does it work they are dividing it up into stacks to determine how much each person is carrying and giving them more role-play queues.
One complaint is that if this is a Carrion Crown Item pack why isn't there more AP specific items? Yes there are lots of useful items but I bought this because I'm running the AP, and there are so many missing items it could be any item pack if the AP's title wasn't printed on the box.
Paizo once again does an excellent job of invoking a theme amongst items. I recommend this Item Card set for everyone, especially those with a classic horror spin on their games. The art as always is superb and this set includes a good variety of items for any group.
Ok, first of all, I don't play Pathfinder AP's, I play in my own home-made campaign in the world of Greyhawk. That being said, these cards are awesome! I like the artwork, the descriptions, the style: they give me ideas and plots by looking at them and intrigue the players too... This is excellent stuff. Really great to hand out! Love them :-)
Interesting items, many of which seem pretty useful (medicine kit!) and some of which are quite evocative. I like this new artist. Nice clean work while still being interesting and staying true to the horror genre. Not quite the box of eldritch horrors I'd hoped and feared for in my darkest rat-infested dreams, but a good and spooky solid set.
