We snuck this out quietly at PaizoCon, and now we're sneaking it out quietly here!

These look useful. What material are they made from (cardboard, plastic, other)?

They're laser-etched acrylic... I've added some more detail to the product description. Thanks for asking!

So how are you supposed to read them if they are under your mini?...

Why not do a different color for each condition?

Wondering the same thing....

Vic, very glad to finally see these. I was the guy that had these custom made for me and my players and suggested they contact you guys about putting a set together for sale here. I personally love them.

FYI guys you do not have to put them under the mini. You can put them next to the mini or on your combat pad or in front of the DM to keep track of his minions. The reason they are each a different color is they do not have that many colors available. The other colors they have available are transparent and thus unsuited for double sided tokens. Already discussed this with Litko when I had my custom set made. These are much more useful for a DM as players are able to more easily keep track of their one character. These really help in larger battles trying to remember who was tripped and who was blinded and who is been stuck and bleeding et cetra. This earn some kinda discount? Maybe?

Just kidding. I hope people use and enjoy these. Like I said great for large battles and area affect spells use. Also if nothing else placing a figure on top of one is a reminder as pieces move around that this particular one is under the affect of a condition. Pick up the figure if you forget which one but how often do you affect people with multiple different kinds of affects in the same encounter.

So when will these be available?

Looks like we've sold out the first run, but I've set it to be backorderable now.

Can we get something similar for the Combat Pad?

Condition magnets! Good idea!

Edit: Of course, we could buy an extra magnet pack & fill them in with perm marker...

A player of mine bought me a couple of packs for our games, and they're really nice. Even if you place them under the mini and can't read the word on it, you at least know that the figure is under a condition of some kind and it reminds you of that fact!

But yeah, you can set them next to the figures too, if you have room.

Could also get some magnetic sheets and sticky paper and DiY...but I'm strapped for free time. :D

Dark Platypus has a magnetic "flagpole" concept for marking conditions. They have little magnetic pole extensions that you wrap condition flags onto and can stack them onto the pole. Put the pole next to the mini and you can see how many and which kinds of conditions they have by the "flags" they are waving.

Unfortuately, the only set of flags they currently have is for 4th ed, but they do have blank flags, and many conditions have the same names.

We grabbed the flag set at Gen Con, I wouldn't even consider them edition-specific, for while some of them are just for 4E (like "blooded"), most of the terms are game-neutral (poisoned, sickened, etc.), and you can always use "blooded" to indicate an injured creature. :)

Try the LITKO web site http://www.litkoaero.com/
They have produced a large range of laser cut counters for several games, and you can order your own designs. There are constant new counters being released for a short period of time in the 'Jim's Product Lab' that don't make it to the major production line, so it pays to visit there regularly and print the pages off for future reference. They look so much better than coloured plain squares. There are various sets that would be useful. eg

4E Damage Token Set
Code: TS094
Product Details
Set of 10 tokens. Includes: 1- Cold damage token in opaque white, 1- Fire damage token in fluorescent amber, 1- Lightning token in fluorescent blue, 1- Necrotic damage token in opaque black, 1- Force damage token in opaque purple, 1- Acid damage token in fluorescent green, 1- Thunder damage token in opaque yellow, 1- Psychic damage token in opaque blue, 1- Poison damage token in transparent gray and 1 Radiant damage token in transparent yellow. The damage token set is a perfect addition to your fantasy role-playing games, great for tracking lingering and sustained damage effects.

Since these are now on the same page as the pawns, are they thin enough to slip into the stand with one of the pawns/ It would solve the problem of the token being under your mini.

Owning a set of these myself. I can say no they will not be thin enough to slip in to the actual stand with the actual pawn.. They are made to sit underneath the actual pawn/miniature. Sorry :)
