Drool...

*****

Amazing detail, for her upper half that is. The paint crew at reaper tick me off with thier amazing skills with a brush...

But I must say I absolutely love this mini!

Royalty

****( )

I wish mine looked as nice as the photo. Still a very nice mini for royalty. Whereas the top half of the miniature has tons of detail, the bottom does not. Still she was fun to paint and turned out quite nice.

How do they manage that level of detail?

Just announced for May!

Silver Crusade

Sweet.

CotCT Spoiler:
Will it be the cute and innocent looking Ileosa that duped Korvosa in the beginning or will it be the supremely powerful lady in red that crushed all before her?

Either would be great, but i think i have alluded to the one I am hoping for.

Very cool that we'll be seeing some AP characters, over and above the iconics. Looking forward to the Queen and the Grey Maiden. :)

Now I gotta push my campaign till June when she arrives. At least I'll get to use her in the last battle hopefully, unless I make her a cylon.....hmmmm.

come on preview picture! I am really stoked from seeing the CoT minis reaper has been putting out. Paizo and Reaper = awesomeness

Woohoo! Thank you Ross! It looks awesome! Once more, sorry about the spoiler problems upthread.

Not reaaly exicted about this one, very plain jane. could use any reaper mini for this character, I want to see more beastiary minis & classes

Silver Crusade

Awesome sculpt right there.

I'm curious about that bar though. I know that what was actually there in her actual character design would be quite difficult to pull off in mini form. Is the bar a stand-in for something or is that pretty much the practical solution to that particular issue?(which would look alright, anyway. I'm just curious)

It's a green..the bar will be to give the model stability. In the mould it will be excess metal that should be cleared from the finished product.

At least I think that's what should happen

It's not excess. You can see the source image for this model in this blog post. The bar represents the thread linking the Queen's wrist with the train of her dress, as closely as possible at one inch scale.

Of course, it should be fairly easy to remove if you would rather treat it like a bowstring and omit it entirely.

My bad..

Y'know the more I look at pics of Ileosa the more like Nicole Kidman she looks

Ah, that's what I was wondering about!

Dammit, now I can't unsee it.

CoCT is Full of NPCs who look like Actors.

Nicholas Cage as Dr Davulos and Matt Damon as Sgt Vancaskerkin being the major ones apart from Ileosa

Silver Crusade

Yeah, I was lucky the emotional climax of one session didn't devolve into repeated quotes of "MATT DAY-MON!" ala Team America after I showed his picture around the table.

What are the chances on getting a Red Mantis assassin mini out? They were such a magor part of CotCT, and it appears they will be agian in the Serpent's Skull adventure path. It just seems like there would be a mini of them wearing their bug helmets to use for these adventures.

In the interim This might work. Heck, buy a few and use them for the grey maidens, just mod their heads.

I think the Imperial Knights look frakking awesome. If I have money, might but a few and paint up Ilosa in red to make a royal retuine display.

We were expecting it this week, but it hasn't arrived yet. Given that this is the last day of June, I guess I'll bump it to July... but hopefully it'll be early July.

Nope, we haven't gotten the stock in yet. I am guessing that it shows as a backorder because the release date passed and there is no inventory available anywhere yet.

The weird thing is that this figure does not appear at all on the Reaper site. I just went and looked at all the previews to see if there was a release date, found everything else, but not this one. Makes me nervous :)

Dark Archive

Maybe the mold exploded? Or perhaps after the first one was made, she got up and enslaved all the workers and had her mold destroyed so there could only be one. :)

Or she decided that green was definately her colour and refused to be molded....

Off topic (slightly): Do you tend to paint the PF figures in the colours they are represented in their pictures, Seoni in red etc, or treat them like normal figures and paint them whatever?? I am just about to paint the Seoni original sculpt, my first PF figure, and was wondering what others do.

Dark Archive

weird another one of my posts that got ate.

I haven't given it a lot of thought yet to be honest. i have not painted mini's in years and the paints I had where old. Hand me downs from my brother and he had them forever. So they are pretty much worthless. So when I paint them I need all new paints and stuff. Which isn't a priority, likely be awhile before I get around to buying paints. So honestly just haven't really thought much about what or how I am going to paint them.

I got both seoni ones, I likely will paint one like her and the other different but not sure.

If I ever get around to actually learning how to properly paint my miniatures, I think I'll paint the Pathfinder miniatures in the original colors.

Reaper's next release is scheduled for Monday August 9th so I'd imagine that Queenie will be added to that release. We'll see the Reaper guys at Gencon and I'll try to get a more exact date.

Silver Crusade

For those that didn't know, Reaper is making limited edition minis for the Civ V limited edition box set & it's has grinded everything else to a halt this month. If you look on their homepage, you'll see the pallets of minis (each box weighing in at or around 20 lbs). They are suppose to resume a regular schedule at the end of this month.

Looking at that mini, I think the bar is just a stabilizer for her arm as it is pretty thin & is the weakest point on her when the green is put into the mold & the master copy is made. Once the mini has been cast, it'll be a piece of scrap metal (for me it'll mean bits for the Boneyard trade-in at ReaperCon next year!!). I think if you want to do the line for her dress, you'll have to come up with something, like you would a missing bowstring. Wires that thin, can't really be casted with out allot of problems involved.

We haven't received our shipment at the warehouse yet, but they did bring us a few boxes at Gen Con, and the leftovers are on their way back, so we'll have at least a handful in the near future...

Fixed the links for you. Also while Ezren showed up fine the other two said you had to sign up for facebook when i tried to view them.

I guess I was wrong on that wire.

Seems to be way out of scale, so I'll have to use a wire for it. Great looking figure thou.

For those of you who might be waiting on this mini, I just wanted to pop in and let you know that we have just placed another order with Reaper for more Queen Ileosa minis! We will be fulfilling orders for her as soon as we possibly can.

thanks!

Just saw the image of the painted up version with custom base that is on this listing now.

Looks pretty sweet. I wish I had the talent to do them up like that.
