With GM's Aid VIII: Monster Knowledge Cards—Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Edition, your job as GM just got easier! This latest version of the Monster Knowledge Cards product has been designed for compatibility with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game from Paizo Publishing, LLC.

There is a card for each of the monsters in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary and Bonus Bestiary, and each includes a number of facts about that particular creature, and any variant types of that creature. Each fact is tied to an increasingly higher Knowledge check DC. When the players characters are faced with a creature, whip out the appropriate card, have the players make rolls, and tell them what they know.

The cards have been formatted to print on any standard-size business card paper, or you can just print them on cardstock and cut them out using the lines as guides. If you do print the Monster Knowledge Cards on business card paper, make sure to choose the "no scaling" option before you hit the print button.

Knowledge Cards for PFRPG Monsters

This book is 47 pages long, 5 pages is cover, OGL, Credits etc. The other 42 pages is monster cards with 8 monsters per page.

Each page list the name of the monster, type of monster and 4 DC's with the knowledge learned from them.

This is a great quick reference for GM's if you and your players like to roll for knowledges about what PC's know about monsters during a game. My only real complaint about the book is there is no indicator on each card on the type of lore/knowledge is needed. Otherwise this is a great product.

Again, a really nice utility product

The only complaint I have is that, while I don't mind listing optional rules for monster knowledge skills or DCs, I wish the "default" DC had been used instead of one of the optional one presented.

Other than that, its great if you are having a hard time with how much you want to give away depending on a given check, and I really, really hope someday they expand this to some other Pathfinder monsters in non-Bestiary products.
