I have been looking forward to this for some time, but found this product lacking. It was ok and helped flesh out the world, but it hit absolutely no needs for my character.
Archer/Ranger of Desna specializing in hunting Undead and Outsiders. This product had squat. No archer prestige classes, very small holy/cleric selection. No undead hunters. No outsider hunters unless you toss arcane spells. Book was too specialized, imo to the point where you could not adapt the classes very well to a variety of characters.
Glad some people like it but I am not one of them.

A quick read later thought very good.
By saturday i was super impressed and in love,by the way my wife still does not know.
By sunday i had moved in with the book seriously it is amazing the best campaign setting i have ever seen.

You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time. I fall into the category of the former. I subscribe to an increasing number of your products and I love each and every delivery. /end suck-up
This particular subscription provides GMs with a barrage of additional flavor and twists they can hurl at the unsuspecting masses. It is unlikely each player will want to purchase copies, I know that I devour these books in order to provide a greater immersion for those that play.
I love this product! Great job re-imagining the monsters. I especially love the details of life as a gnoll. It makes me want to run an all gnoll PCs game just so I can explore their society further! Bugbears are now super frightening, especially some of the variants, and I actually had some nightmares of a bugbear nature! Really awesome that a product can get such a reaction from me. Keep up the good work Paizo!
