The Pathfinder Adventure Path is Paizo Publishing's monthly 96-page, perfect-bound, full-color softcover book printed on high-quality paper. Each volume is brought to you by the same staff which brought you Dragon and Dungeon magazines for over five years, and each volume contains an in-depth Adventure Path scenario, stats for about a half-dozen new monsters, and several support articles meant to give Game Masters additional material to expand their campaign. Because Pathfinder uses the Open Game License, it is 100% compatible with the world's most popular fantasy roleplaying game.
Paizo releases Adventure Paths in six-volume arcs, meaning each year of Pathfinder will include two complete Adventure Paths.
Ongoing subscriptions are fixed at a 30% discount off of each volume’s cover price, plus shipping. One ongoing subscription will get you every new volume of the Pathfinder Adventure Path as it's released, automatically continuing each month until you choose to cancel it. Instead of paying for your subscription all at once, we'll automatically charge your credit card each month before we ship a new volume. You only need to sign up once, and never need to worry about renewal notices or missed issues!
After we ship your subscriber copy, you'll be able to download a PDF of that volume—a $13.99 value—for FREE! (Note that you only get free PDFs for releases shipped as part of your subscription; you do not get free PDFs when purchasing older volumes that are not sent as subscriber copies.)
Pathfinder Adventure Path subscribers also receive the Pathfinder Advantage: 15% off of suggested retail price of all products on paizo.com, with the exception of non-Paizo downloadable files. (In the case of collectible products, the 15% discount will be taken off of Paizo's regular offering price.) This discount even applies to other Paizo subscriptions that aren't normally discounted! (If you already subscribe to these products, you need do nothing—appropriate discounts will be applied automatically.) With the Pathfinder Advantage, you can save on over 20,000 gaming products in the paizo.com store.
The Pathfinder Advantage does not stack with other subscription or sale discounts. This means that if a product is already on sale for 10% off of suggested retail, you'll get an extra 5% off. (Of course, if a product is already on sale for 50% off, you'll still get 50% off.) The Pathfinder Advantage discount will automatically be applied to all new paizo.com orders as long as you remain an active subscriber.
To qualify for the Pathfinder Advantage, the most recent volume of the Pathfinder Adventure Path must have been shipped to you (or, if you have multiple subscriptions with combined shipments, the most recent volume must be waiting to ship with your other subscription products). Any items ordered at the same time as your subscription, and any orders placed before that volume is shipped, do not qualify for the discount.
The Pathfinder Advantage is only available to customers with ongoing subscriptions. Just having transitioned issues of Dragon and Dungeon doesn't qualify—you must sign up for an ongoing Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription at paizo.com to get the Pathfinder Advantage. (Of course, you won't be charged for new volumes of the Pathfinder Adventure Path until your transition volumes run out.)
If you have other Paizo subscriptions, you can combine them with your monthly Pathfinder Adventure Path shipment to save money on shipping.
When you start an ongoing subscription, any existing preorders for products covered by your subscription are automatically cancelled (or have their quantity reduced by one if you've preordered more than one of an item).

I'm currently loving my new subscription for Skull & Shackles and was considering picking up all of the Kingmaker AP books. (I've already got the Kingmaker paper miniatures.) My question is, if I order the hard copy books do I automatically get the PDFs as well?
To expand on what Kajehase said (since MJinthePitt is currently a subscriber), you need to be a subscriber at the time the book is released in order for you to get the free PDF. So, in order for you to get the Kingmaker PDFs for free, you would have had to be a subscriber back when the Kingmaker books were released.
Do we know when the AP subscription rolls over? I'm really interested in starting with the Shattered Star AP. I wanted to preorder Minis as well. Will I be able to start my subscription in time for me to preorder the minis with a discount?

Yes, in fact you'll be able to start before the minis actually go up on the site I'd guess. the susbcription choice changes when the first subscription copies go out, which isc scheduled to be next Monday. Even if they do go up in the next week, it won't matter for preorders - Paizo don't charge for anything until they put it into a box to go to you.
Wise Tiki, Because Skull and Shackles 6 and Shattered Star 1 are scheduled to ship at the same time you will not be able to sign up for Shattered Star 1 by clilcking on the button until after they start shipping (or at least authorizing payments, I'm not sure exactly when the rollover occurs). However, Paizo has awesome customer service and if you contact them at customer.service@paizo.com, I would bet that they will be able to get you set up right away.
I just wanted to say that I'm back! I wasn't much interested in an Asian-themed AP or a Pirate AP, but a Back-to-the-Runelords AP and a Northlands AP both sound very appealing. So I'm resubscribed, and looking forward to getting #61 and all those that follow!
With the growing support of this Subscription, has the AP shipping time frame moved from one week to ship everyone's Subscriptions to perhaps 1.5 weeks to handle to volume of Subscriptions?
Generally (and this is very generally), if there's a delay in shipping subscriptions out, it is because a customer has ordered additional non-subscription items to their order. These orders then have to be processed manually, which can add a bit of delay to getting the order shipped out. I've double-checked with the warehouse, and they are finishing up the last bit of the subscription shipments.
This maybe old news but is the subscription price schedule to increase in February 2013. Just notice that the price on Path # 67 will be $23.99? Is this correct?

I'm curious. I have a fairly decent backlog of adventures to run at this point, so I don't necessarily need the monthly shipments. Is there a way to ship all 6 books of an adventure path at the same time?
I don't mind paying monthly, I just don't need to receive them monthly and it would save me and you on shipping costs.
Curmudgeonly, you could suspend your subscriptions, and when the last volume ships, unsuspend and get all of them shipped to you at the same time. However, suspending your subscriptions will also remove your Pathfinder Advantage discount.

Hello,
When the AP67 will be in the Subscription ?
When AP66 starts shipping, you will have the option to start a new subscription with AP67. They offer the currently shipping issue and the next issue in the line for new subscriptions.
I've recently bought the core rulebook on amazon, and i'm really interested in this subscription. The only problem is that there is no trackable shipment option for me (I'm Italian). I would like to know if there was in past any problem of any kind for shipments to reach my country. Reading on the net a lot of Italians (I searched on google once when I was buying an item on e-bay) had problems with USPS. What's your experience at Paizo, did you recive any complaint due to lost shipments? If yes (as I fear) what is your policy about it?

I've made a few individual purchases from paizo and they have all arrived in Holland quite promptly (about 3 weeks or so from the US).
The only problem is if the package is intercepted by customs, and then they slap on import duties + a €12 processing fee (Italy is probably similar). Import duties are low (about 4% so) but the customs processing fees can really drive up the cost.
But perhaps Paizo has a European distributor for the subscriptions though to get around this??

Most international orders go through just fine. We rarely have any address that doesn't eventually get its packages delivered (sometimes, some addresses routinely take a bit longer than the post office generally estimates). When packages do go permanently missing, we try to work with the recipient to ensure delivery or other satisfactory resolution.

I live in Sweden and have been subscribing since the end of the Serpent's Skull AP (with a different account [for complicated reasons that is only a problem to me]) and everything has arrived when it should so far. One or two times it's even arrived a couple of days too early.
Poland, arrival time average 2-3 weeks, minimum: 5 days, maximum: 4 months. No lost/damaged items, ever. Two times stuff got held up by customs who, after a 1 month long procedure, finally decided that the stuff is not expensive enough to be taxed.
Heck, I'm in BC, Canada, closer to Seattle than most of the US. I'm about an hour's drive north of Vancouver. And... it still takes 2-3 weeks for subscription copies to get to me. But it takes 2-3 weeks for ANYTHING from the US to get to me. Mail is slow hereabouts.
To add what Jeven said: most EU countries have laws that relieve the duty to pay import duties and VAT if their total amount is 10 EUR or less.
I had a big Paizo box once incoming, and it got held by customs. I've had to produce invoices, proofs of payment, sign a zillion of papers and 1 month later the box arrived at my doorstep with an notice that said "the total amount of VAT and import duties did not exceed 10 EUR, therefore no payment is necessary".

Ciao,
I'm also Italian and I have subscribed to the AP since the very beginning. I also placed many other orders with Paizo. In my experience, sometimes (but not often) packages can be delayed for quite a bit, but when this happens, it's always been the fault of customs and never of the postal service. In any event, in all these years, I don't think that a single package has gone missing. In the unlikely event of something like this happening, I'm sure that Paizo would help you.
