I'll be a little bit more generous to this mini than the Lady Aurora was; it is, after all, the correct size for a flamebrother salamander. Having said that, the paint job doesn't do the mini any favors. I'm not ashamed to put this mini on the table, but I doubt that I'll get any compliments on it, either.

I don't collect/trade miniatures but I do use them for roleplaying. I was disappointed with this mini. First of all, mini is truly the word for it. Maybe I just have been imagining the size of this creature inaccurately all along but this piece is tiny in scale. Which leads to my next complaint, it's so small the details are lost and the paint job looks sloppy. Rather than be blown away, everyone had to lean forward and squint, muttering, "what is that thing?" when I plopped it on the table. NOT the reaction I was going for! One small consolation, his weapon is pretty cool.
