Twilight 2000 is a roleplaying game set in a fictional future—one where World War III began in the late 1990s and eventually slipped into a nuclear exchange, changing society as we know it. The players assume the roles of survivors trying to live through the aftermath of the war. The opening scenario of Twilight: 2000 plunked a diverse squad of soldiers—men, women, white, black—into exotic war-torn Poland in 2001.

This first book in the Twilight: 2000 reprint series includes the complete basic game rules, plus the first four Twilight 2000 adventures published by GDW: The Free City of Krakow, Pirates of the Vistula, The Ruins of Warsaw, and The Black Madonna.
