Cards are nice but the Box is lacking

4/5

The cards are nice. All cards have one side dedicated to the monster's artwork that makes it real easy to show your players while the other side has the monsters statblock in it. Some monsters have 2 cards (including some weaker creatures with long blocks of text) so special consideration when using such a monster will have to be kept in mind.

The box, however, is lacking. The quality of the box itself is good but it's designed store the cards face down which is uhh... less than useful. The cards are meant to be read top-down playing card style (with the monster's name and level at the top of the card) and not recipe card style. This means that the ideal storage of these cards is with them standing on their short edge so I can flip through them while looking at the monster names and levels. This box isn't tall enough to accommodate this storage style.

Maybe this wouldn't be such a big deal. But it's incredibly difficult to find a box that fits my storage needs (Most storage containers are in a similar style to this while I would preferred my box would be more like this (but with the correct dimensions to hold 4x6 or 4.5x7.125 cards [I'm considering putting them in Card Savers 4 so I can write on them with dry erase markers]).

TL;DR: I love these cards, but the base storage container isn't conducive to using these cards and finding a better storage container is difficult and might require custom making one.
