I went to Lowe's and got a nice piece of wood for $7.00 and made them cut 3x3" pieces out of it. Looking back I should have had them finish the job but I have a saw at home. I still have like 3'x2' left for cutting bases of any size.

After you finish the base, you cant tell that it was just wood from a hardware store.
