Yes, she noticed that I didn't have her game and will send it to me later.

I just finished posting all of the reporting sheets I had. However, I noticed that most of the GM's did not include their info on their sheets if they wanted credit. If you do then please let me know. Again, thanks to all who showed up and played or GM'ed. It was fun. See you all next year.

As a final accounting of this weekends OwlCon, we ended up with 29 tables. I had thought we would have trouble filling the scheduled 24 tables, but we didn't. We went over by 5. Also we gave away about 14 new member cards. I had a fun time and wish to thank everyone who attended to either play, GM, or both. It would not have been such a success without you.

I am now convinced of Doug Doug's qualifications to be the first 5-star GM. I had little doubt before, but he stepped in and ran several overflow tables for us at this year's OwlCon. So far we had 12 regular tables scheduled for Friday and Saturday of the Con, but we had 16 run by the time of the Special Event, which btw Doug Doug ran as the overall GM. Fine upstanding fellow that one.

Today is the last day. We will see what today brings us in the way of surprises. I haven't had time to count how many attendees were at the Special Event yet but I will.

Just my 2 cp.

EDIT: Count of the Special Event Year of the Shadow Lodge:
1 OverGM; 5 Table GM's; 29 Players'.

EDIT2: We had people from Austin, San Antonio, 2 came from Virginia, and 5 guys drove over from New Orleans just to game with us. Awesome, folks. Thanks for making the trip to game with us. We enjoyed having you.

An early report, we had 4 tables scheduled for Friday nights games. But we had to create an overflow table. So we had 5 tables for the 8 pm time slot. Will report more tonight.

Might I suggest that you get some Vitamin C tablets in the 500-1000 mg value. Taking 2000-3000 mg daily will help suppress the cold virus ffrom taking effect. At least it always works that way for me.

@Aberzombie,

Were you setting on my futon? I did the same thing yesterday. I recorded and watched Yellowbeard. It was interesting that ATT allowed the HD channels to play for free that made that possible for me. I am sorry I cannot see a reason to pay for watching the same channels I can get normally over cable.

Sorry for the rant.

I didn't post anything as I figured that people were getting tired of seeing me post. The count down to OwlCon is exactly 7 days until it begins.

They have supplied our gaming group a place to play for almost 2 years.

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

Second Darkness took our group about 18 months of meeting every week for 4-5 hours. We generally had between 4-7 players at any one time. Does that help?

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

Thanks for the update. You are very appreciated.

* (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

@Robert Little,
We have a tentative plan to have extra GM's available to handle any overflow. That means any full slots with people still wanting to play. So finding a GM to handle your group should not be too much of a problem. We tried to plan for most any problem. See you at OwlCon.

* (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

Now with 2 full tables. Still plenty of openings for some PFS fun.

One game is closed with 6 players, but there are enough open games for more players.

@Mundane,
Just for your information at the end of January is a local Con called OwlCon at Rice University which is just down the street from you in Montrose. Also there are some Pathfinder games at a game store at 5016 Kirby named Asgard Games on Sunday afternoon.

(Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

There is an apparent problem in the Downloads page. There are two separate entries for Serpent Skull PDF’s.

One is posted as: Paizo Publishing, LLC: Pathfinder Adventure Path #37–42: Serpent's Skull (PFRPG)
and comes just after Kingmaker Pdf’s. But only has the Player’s Guide in it.

The second comes further down the page after the Season 2 scenarios and is listed as : Paizo Publishing, LLC: Serpent's Skull. It has the actual Adventure Path books in it.

Any chance of an updated listing? I appreciate all the work you did previously. It help in my research of new and fun material.

* (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

As far as what is legal for play you should check out chapter 13 of the Organized Play Rules in the Guide. That lists all of the legal for play options from the different sources.

Here is my minor concern. If the assumption is that everyone has access to the core books then there shouldn't be a problem. However, even if it seems unlikely not everyone has internet access. So with that being said, if the APG and other stats are only accessible on the internet and those people do not have internet access then are they being penalized for not having internet access?

I have both internet access and all of the core and non-core books, so it is basically a non-issue for me. It may be a very small minority that doesn't have all of the books nor internet access.

If you decide that not repeating stat blocks allows more new information in AP's and scenarios go for it. As I said I am only one small voice in vast sea of Paizo fans.

@Greg, I will take time to admit to a couple of things. Or maybe just one. I am prejudiced, against ignorance and stupidity. I see ignorance being a lack of knowledge through no fault of your own, but stupidity is a lack of knowledge through your own choice.

Forgive me for not reading through the entire thread. But the concern about an efficient and some other comments about drawing a wand seem disconnected to me. With that being said, I seem to remember a bracer from the Dungeonscape book that held up to 5 wands and had strings attached to each wand and one of your fingers. Essentially flex a finger and bingo you have a wand in hand. I believe replacing the wand was a move action, but if you are interested you could take some time and look it up.

If this is not pertinent to the discussion then feel free to flag it is not part of the discussion.

Hurrah for Paizo Warehouse team. I received my had copy of the Bestiary 2 today 12-17-2010 at about 10:45 am. Amazingly I noticed on the shipping label it was postmarked 12-15-2010. That comes out at just 2 days from Redmond, WA to Houston, TX. Way to go team. Thank you very much. Now I hope all others get theirs as easily as this came through. Just think 2 days in the middle of Christmas rush.

If memory serves me correctly you can pretty much choose whatever you want to put wherever. I recall seeing a Collar of the Infernal from Masks of the Living God. I believe you can modify any of the regular items to perform a different function. Say you have a Cloak of Elvenkind and want a magical bonus to your Resistance. You cannot wear two cloaks and have both function so create a helm of resistance, or a belt of Resistance, or even pants of resistance.

To answer a couple of questions from the last few days:

We are currently processing subscriber orders and preorders; it'll take a few days to get through them all. The official retail release date is December 29, so any retailer who has it before that date is supposed to hold it until then.

Shipments have already gone out to our distributors, including international and book trade distributors, but we have no control over (or insight into) the shipping to individual retailers (including Amazon) from those distributors.

Received email at 3:21 CST that order will be shipped by Thursday December 16, 2010.

Just a reminder:

Preregistrations must be received before pre-registration closes on Friday, January 21, 2011 .

The OwlCon web site shows how many players are allowed for each scenario, and what day and time it is played. In parentheses beside the date and time is the number of slots left in the game. If the date and time is in red it is filled with no player slots left.

* (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, GameMastery Maps Subscriber)

On the OwlCon site there are 5 beginner games listed for PFS. Our attempt was to have 2 low level tables in each time slot. If history repeats we could have more if there are enough players that sign up.

If my emails are that much of an harassment I will stop sending them out.(j/k)

My thought was to try keeping everyone informed of what was taking place and might have an effect on someone.

I can slack off now that everything is lined out and all GM's are present and accounted for.
My next worry project is hoping that we have enough players for all the games.

@ Dragnmoon, definitely silverhair, Wolfthulhu,and Jess Door. As for Houstonderek I have had no communcation from him for several months. So I have no idea if he will be at OwlCon or not.
