I've always believed that M&M is my way to run the fantasy game of my dreams where players can play larger than life characters with powers that break the mold of everything you've come to expect for a fantasy setting. You want to play a Minotaur who can turn himself into stone? Go right ahead. You want to play a fallen Angel with a penache for firearms? I won't stop you. And if you want to play a plucky human swordsman in the same setting and have him go toe to toe with those two? Well that's the beauty of M&M isn't it.

I can't download the Pathfinder Alpha. I tried on my computer but this thing is fubar to the 9th power. So I tried from my Girlfriends comp, and it would not let me personalize it let alone download. What is a lowly little Mezzoturchin supposed to do?

Happy Easter to one and all.

I think it is a toss-up between, Conan the Barbarian and Elric of Melnibone. There are others like every character Salvatore has written. But those two blong a the top. What do you folks think.

A while back I was gonna sell all my 3.5 stuff(WotC books, Mini's, and all my Paizo stuff) I had mentioned it in a post and had an interested buyer, or at least I thought he was but he never got back to me. Then I read in one of the posts that WotC was not giving Paizo the info they needed to create OGL products for 4E, and there was a possibility that Paizo would just go it alone and stay rooted in 3.5 or possibly go thier own way. At that point I decided to wait and see. As time has gone on I have not played in a game in over a year, since after I came to grips with my drinking problem and went to rehab I have stopped hanging out with people who are not good for me. Unfortunatly some of them were people I played with, between this and the others moving away I stopped playing. I recently got interested in Mutants and Masterminds and bought a few of the books. Still I have not been able to find anyone to play with. I now am considering selling all my stuff as I do not play and while I still want to I have been having a problem finding anyone to game with. What should I do?

I just received my Christmas card, thank you and a Happy Goblin Holiday to you! Thanks again :)

I am always reading things about how PnP, D&D in particular are going mainstream. Who cares? I know it is good for the continued existance of the games we all know and love, but I have gone to more than a few conventions and there are plenty of people old and young who DO play. Most people who have a bias against RPGs and the people who play them are not the kind of people who I would want to see at the table when I am playing anyway. I do not like most mainstream things or people. I am a guy, who if not for an ability to excell on the sports field would most likely have been picked on mercilessly as a kid. When I was young I thought it was so great that I could fit in with the cool crowd, but the truth is hanging out with all of those jerks, instead of with my gamer freinds was probably the reason I have taken so long to get to where I want to be. All the guys I played D&D with are pretty succesful for the most part, as opposed to most of the guys I kicked it with who are in jail. It is only trough dumbluck that I am not in jail too. So to hades with the mainsteram.

*I just needed to get that off my chest, thank you and good night.

I can not find it anywhere

I was wondering if you guys had any plans to create Superlink products for Mutants and Masterminds?

ME. Born and Bred a NYGiants fan. I love football, played peewee, played popwarner, played postgrad starting my sophmore year in Boarding School(for those who don't know thats Junior College,so you could say I was pretty good). Had more than a few, D-1AA offers tore up my knee my Junior year, then again after coming back too soon from reconstructive surgery, once more as a Senior now I just watch from the couch and scream alot. Anyway the reason I started this post is because I am truly passionate about the game was wondering if anyone else enjoys the sport. If so I thought it would be cool to chat about the season and whats happening in the NFL.

I like to sleep with the windows open in the winter, especially now that is getting cold here in NYC. I just can't fall asleep otherwise.
Does anyone else feel this way or am I a freak?

I have all these great new recipes and no where to post them. Is there no way to bring it back from the dead? Is my most beloved thread gone forever? Am I the only person on the planet who cares? Am I the only foodie on these boards? Am I simply setting up a shameless plug for my new online Brownie store? No, but only because I don't have one. Can anyone out there help a poor lost secretturchinman?

SAMMICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I probably will sound real yag saying this but, I found this movie to be delightful. It was charming, funny and romantic. I was real angry that I was watching it at first but I found myself singing of a true loves kiss when I was leaving the theater. I can't believe I am typing this.
Sammich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

1. I love Sammichs.
2. I can cook my mudaflukinasp off.

I am the Wonderous. If any of you are, who are you?

Born March 15 1927, in Sadow, Poland. Edmund Jelito grew up on a farm in Poland. As a young man he fought in WW2 , was wounded in combat 3 times. All three times were a blessing as the platoon he was with was wiped out to the last man each time while he lay in a military hospital.
After the war he a young woman named Otylia, they fell in love and soon they were married. The newlywed Jelitos, moved in to a homestead, on a government sponsored farm, where they lived with his mother, sister and her husband. They had two children Andrew and Renata. To make ends meet Edmund worked on the farm with the rest of the family, and at night he worked on the railroad. While his mother and Daughter sold home made Icecream from a wagon in the eveings. In 1963 with $363 to their names they sailed to the U.S. where they started a new life. Once his children moved out on their own Edmund and Otylia moved back to Poland because his mother wanted to be buried with his father in the old country. Where they lived together until Sept. 27, 2007 when after 5 hard years of his body painfully betrayed him he God finally called him home to rest. Two days before this he cried because of the pain he was in; he cried, a man who did not shed a tear when wounded in battle. Nor when he broke his leg kicking a ratiator while he slept. The pain was that unbearable. It was a blessing that this brave, kind ,and gentle man
no longer suffer. He will be sorely missed.

I love you Grandpa.

After Pathfinder arrived last week I figured I would wait a few more days... unfortunatley it has never arrived. Assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

Woo Hoo!
Looks great. I have not received Dragon# 359 however.

The new avatar is um... different. Why the change?

Just wondering so that I can try and figure out if they are coming or if somthing insidious has befallen these 2 fine publications.

I wonder where o where could it be?

I converted my remaining Dragon subscription over to Pathfinder. Do I get #'s 1 and 2? I was looking at my subscriptions and I was just wondering what the case is.

Is there anyway to buy them pre-painted I can not hope to paint them well. Also are they the same size as D&D minis? This is actually more important than the whole pre-painted thing.

It was kinda, sorta good. Should have been better.

I want to pay with a moneyorder. Any help would be fantastic.

(Male Mezzoloth SuperDuperAmazingGuy 22)

As I am here for at least another 10 months I desperatly need my D&D fix. Can anyone help a poor little TurchinMan out?

I actually feel like I know someone I care about will no longer be a part of my life. Am I being a Drama Queen? I usually just buy one or two issues a year then I became a subscriber, and Dragon became a part of my life. Thanks be to Kord that Paizo is not going anywhere. I am not sure what I would do without all you guys.

But I am learning to live life alcohol free. While I am here I will quit smoking cig's as well. The program is stressful at times but I realize this needs to be. I am looking forward to going back to school which the program will pay for. Free education, it is a beautiful thing. Anyway that is all for now got to get off the computer and let someone else on. Goodbye and good health. SAMMICH!

FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE

Makes one 10-inch cake

8 ounces good-quality bittersweet chocolate, cut into small pieces

4 ounces unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

5 eggs, separated

Pinch of salt

2/3 cup sugar

Powdered sugar, for garnish

Unsweetened whipped cream, for garnish

Fresh raspberries, for garnish

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour a 10-inch round cake pan.

Bring about 1 inch of water to boil in the bottom half of a double boiler or in a medium saucepan. Reduce the heat to a bare simmer. Put the chocolate and butter in the top half of the double boiler or in a heatproof mixing bowl large enough to rest on the rim of the saucepan without the bowl's bottom touching the water. Place the pan or bowl over the simmering water and melt the chocolate and butter, stirring them until blended.

Meanwhile, in another mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, pinch of salt and all but 3 tablespoons of the sugar. Stirring continuously, pour the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg yolks until thoroughly combined.

In a third, clean bowl, put the egg whites. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks that droop slightly when the beaters are lifted out. Still beating at medium speed, gradually sprinkle in the remaining sugar, continuing to beat the egg whites until they form stiff but not yet dry peaks.

With a rubber spatula, fold a generous dollop of the egg whites into the chocolate mixture, just until a few streaks of white remain. Add the chocolate mixture to the remaining egg whites and gently fold together until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately invert a cardboard cake round and a wire cake rack on top of it; then, protecting both hands with pot holders or oven mitts and clasping the rack and pan together, invert them to unmold the cake onto the cardboard and rack. Leave the cake to cool to room temperature. Don't worry that its center sinks and cracks slightly. Refrigerate until serving time.

Before serving, dust the cake with powdered sugar by spooning some sugar into a fine-meshed sieve held over the cake, then gently tapping the sieve. Cut the cake into wedges and serve with whipped cream and raspberries.

Baklava:
1(16 ounce)package of Phyllo dough
1 lb chopped nuts(we use pecans, hazelnuts and pistachios)
1 cup butter
1/2 cup ground cinnamon
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup honey

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter bottom and sides of a 9x13 inch pan.
Chop nuts and toss with cinnamon. Set aside. Unroll phyllo dough. Cut whole stack in half to fit pan. Cover with a dampened cloth to keep from drying out as you work. Place 2 sheets of dough in pan, butter thoroughly. Repeat until you have 8 sheets layered. Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of nut mixture on top. Top with 2 sheets of dough, butter, nuts, layering as you go. The top layer should be about 6-8 sheets deep.

Using a sharp knife cut into diamond or square shapes all the way to the bottom of the pan. Bake foe about 50 minutes until Baklava is golden and crisp.

Make sauce while Baklava is baking. Boil sugar and water until sugar is melted. Add vanilla and honey. Simmer about 25 minutes.

Remove Baklava from oven and pour sauce over it immediately. Let cool. Do not cover when storing as it will get soggy.

I'll go first: Sammichs!!!

Not exactly a pressing topic but I remember it being later in the year, or am I just going crazy?

My ex used to say I am all hands, sorta like a Mezzoloth, except I am not evil...just snarky.

edit: I am actually a tad bit evil.

pathguy.com/cg35.htm it makes character generation alot less time consuming.

NYC. Crying in the dark cause Tegan is mean. :p

I am looking at the entry for War Hulk, and it reads that at 1st level the War hulk gains an ability called No time to think.
Then I start reading further along and there is no such thing.
Am I blowing my spot check, and I just don't see it?
Or does it not exist and I am driving myself crazy for no reason?
Can anyone aid this Gamer in distress?
Does any one even use War Hulk's in their game?

Please help.

That is what I would like to see; very much, Thank you sir.

Seriously. I think he would be a Cleric of Oliddamara.

I do not mean the mmorpg, I mean the REAL D&D. I have always wanted to participate in such a thing as it is hard for me to get into a weekly game. I work as a Nurses Aide, and every couple of weeks my schedule changes.

I was just reading some of the War Duke posts and I was wondering where do I get stats for him?

Like can I order somthing by mail and paywith a moneyorder?
American Express nowhere I want to go.

I am not at homeright now. So I do not have my magazine to tell me where to go. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am placing an order later on today, and I am seriously thinking of buying it. I just was hoping to get some feedback before I do.
