Seb, but that does not make too much sense though. For example, say I developed a setting called Aldavir with basic world info that relies on the "core books" for the basics. Then later on I come out with a monster manual type book making the MM unneeded. Would this be in violation of the license?

But isn't that the direction the company has moved towards anyway with their moves regarding Dungeon/Dragon, as well as the other licenses?

Everyone I know is pretty ambivalent; most people have moved off the hobby itself in the past couple of years. I suspect some of the reasons have to do with life changes ( marraige, jobs, kids, finances etc.). As such, it would be good for the hobby to attract a new audience. The people I do game with really don't follow 4E at all and have very little knowledge of it at this stage.

Please cancel my pathfinder subscription. Thank you.

Tough choice; like others have said, 4.0 has scant information to let us decide one way or the other. However, it's hard to see how an draft SRD can be given to you guys anytime soon, if they are still considering design decisions on subjects as magical items. However, I don't think the Pathfinder series is a sustainable model; it lacks the variety found in Dungeon, and as such is less value for the buyer (I know that the production values are awesome).

Maybe thinking outside the box? How about contacting a certain Wulfgang Baur?

Please email me the PDF if possible as well ppanavalli AT yahoo.com. Thank you!
