Hey there.
I'm planning an arrowsong minstrel / arcane archer for PFS. So: good choice! ^^

But the ranger-dip doesn't work as you wish it to. I see 2 problems:
1. the 2 archetypes don't stack, because both of them replace the favored enemy class ability.
2. the deed 'dead aim' refers to 'a single ranged attack (not a full attack)' while spellstrike casts a spell and adds the delivery through an attack. I'm just not sure, this will work well with each other.

Further there are not many evocation spells, that qualify for the spellstrike. So my advice: Just take it as a gimmick and get sure, you have a spell on your list of spells known that is qualifying for spellstrike. But don't focus on this ability.

First things first: love the build - it's very similar to mine ^^

But: Final Embrace Master just doubles the damage DICE of your constrict, doesn't it?! Is there any other point I don't get? Or is the constrict-dmg really just 1d3+10? (or is it also doubled by Pinning KO? and if yes: shouldn't be the constrict-dmg in this case 4d3+20 and y doesn't Pinning KO also double the sneak-dmg?)

My own build works with 2 levels of good old MoMS and fuses Snapping Turtle Style with Grabbing Style for grappling down two foes at the same time ...

EDIT: wasn't the Ability Focus pre-req only for the Final Embrace Horror removed and is still a pre-req for Final Embrace Master?!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I didn't read EVERY post above, but:
1) by RAW the beastmorph doesn't alter the class ability "mutagen" - it alters "swift alchemy" at 3rd lvl, "swift poisoning" at 6th, "poison resistance +2, +4, and +6, as well as poison immunity" at 2nd, 5th, 8th and 10th lvl, as well as finally "persistent mutagen" at 14th lvl. But it adds only effects on the mutagen class ability. This seems to be kind of bizarre/cranky (sry - my english isn't the very best, so i don't know, which word would be best to express my thought [looked to the dictionary])
2) you have to have the mutagen class ability to make use of those adds by RAW. That means, that archetypes, that DO alter the mutagen class ability to another class ability (I think especially of the mindchemist, who doesn't alter but replace the mutagen for the cognatogen by RAW), can take the beastmorph-archetype without use. They have to take the mutagen-discovery to get use of the beastmorph-adds.
Hope, I could get my point across to you and didn't repeat something already said above.

EDIT: to say, that beastmorph would add his abilities to his cognatogen, would be ok for me as a GM, but it's not RAW but RAI.
