Well, first we have Indus, an archeologist who relies mainly on his luck and have currently misplaced his father, with whom he has a strained relationship. And guess who’s the God of both luck AND family (and a big hit with bards) in old Osirion? That’s right: Bes! (Which means the odds of meeting Lueck’s cleric-buddy Tihn again just went from highly likely to almost guaranteed, by the way).

If that is a helpful NPC for you to use, by all means, go ahead! For me, that was just a way to build in a backup character in case something goes wrong with a grippli prone to charging into battles...

Just sent a ping through Linkedin. Thanks!

I am not looking at a particular industry. I have been in telecommunications, but certainly not tied to that.

Project Management. I haven't had to look for work for almost twenty years, so a lot has changed in how you apply for and find jobs.

I have a gap where I am waiting on career coaches to get back to me, so I'll work on him. Shouldn't take too long to finish.

Yeah, that bar has been set high. I will work on my character this weekend. I am jobhunting right now, and I need to finish up some stuff on that before I get to hobby.

I will be going with a grippli cleric of battle, but I am thinking now of going with Sekhmet rather than Gorum to be more thematic. Mechanically and backstory-wise, it will be the same as if I'd taken Gorum.

I'm sorry, but I haven't been able to work on the character concept I had for this. I had to jump on some job hunt opportunities and haven't had time to focus on this.

Thanks for the invite! I'm looking forward to this!

I'm curious as to what others have in mind for characters. I have several concepts I'd like to try for PF1e that I either didn't get the chance or had their careers cut short. I'm thinking a human sorcerer (sage), a haunted human barbarian or a grippli cleric of Gorum.

I've got an idea for a magus that I'm flushing out for this. I'll post it as soon as it is ready.

I'd certainly be interested!

I think you'll find a sympathetic group here when it comes to work/employment issues, mental and physical health issues (both personal and loved ones), and just general stress and fatigue.

I am glad you are doing okay. I am glad you're staying with us.

I am definitely interested in this if there is still room. I too have had quite a few false starts with this game, and would love to see it go to high levels!

GM, are you good with characters crafting items during downtime?

Attribute rolls:
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

I've been in a few WotW campaigns that didn't go the distance. I'd love to try again.

Strength 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Dexterity 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Constitution 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Intelligence 18 (focus)
Wisdom 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Charisma 8 (foible)

Edit: Interesting array. I have in mind a slyph Investigator (impericist) / Magus (kensai). I'll get her put together.

Hi Jubal. I am working on a wood elf outlander cleric to submit. Would Fharlanghn be an acceptable choice for deity (with the knowledge domain)?

For background, I'm thinking he was washed off a ship in the storm, and either washed up by Saltmarsh or was rescued by someone from Saltmarsh (if there's someone he could have a tie to). He took ending up at Saltmarsh as a sign from his god that there is need for him here, and so he's hanging around, doing odd jobs, looking for a sign as to what that could be.

Hey GM. Thoughts are with you, the missus, and the Tabaxi roommates. Hope all is well. I'm guessing you're out of power like the rest of your state, and I'm hoping that's all it is. Take care!

I'm learning towards the iconic dwarven fighter or the truly old school Elf; the kind from back when Elf was your race and your class, effectively a fighter/magic-user.

It looks like there are four of us. Do we want to try and work out the traditional roles, or just make what we like and see how it goes?

Did you want to throw out a dicing option with a point buy floor, or just go with points?

Hey WhtKnt! Atlas2112 let me know that I'm on board with this. Its great to have another game with you!

How do you want us to do stats? Standard array, point buy, or real old school rolld 4d6?

Definitely interested!

Hey Grimmy! I was glad to see your name pop up again!

I'd definitely be interested in a 5e scenario if you decide to go that way. It would be great to game with you again.

Hi Scranford! If you are still open to recruits, I've got an idea for a rogue type I'd love to bring in.

No worries, DW! Any time you might feel the spark again, drop a note. As always, real life comes first and we all understand that. :)

I am so glad to hear you pulled through that okay. That is brutal under normal circumstances, much less when the healthcare system is stressed and the plague is rolling around.

It reminded me of this one. Go Team Cleric!

I can't remember...where did the blast damage over the desk come from?

That would be when the sidekicks were defending the ship.

If anyone is interested in some of the Rich's books, Paizo has some on sale. That includes some that are not published on the internet. You can find them here.

I am definitely interested. I am thinking about a halfling ranger who is affiliated with the Emerald Enclave; if that doesn't work he could also have ties to the Harpers. I'll put something together as soon as I can.

Definitely interested! I am thinking a sorcerer might be fun for this. I'll start putting someone together.

I was wondering if Rich was going to address this!

I'd be glad to draw up a replacement character if you'd like. If there are any parameters you'd like me to work within (crunch or fluff), just let me know.

4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 2) = 11 9
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 2) = 13 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 6) = 22 18
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 1) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6, 4) = 16 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 6) = 15 14

I am working on updating some characters for other campaigns, but when I finish that I'll see what I can do with that 18. :)

I'm working on a human wizard. Are there any recommendations on languages to take?

Silver 1d10 ⇒ 9. So, is the silver in addition to the 20gp he gets as a sage, or instead of?

Rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 1110
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 2, 5) = 1513
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 4, 5) = 1512
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1, 2) = 109
4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 4) = 1413
4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 5, 2) = 1715
4d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 1) = 109
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 6) = 1917

Array would be 17, 15, 13, 13, 12, 10.

I am in a Pathfinder Rappan Athuk game, but I would love a chance to play a 5e character. If that doesn't concern you, I will see what I can come up with.

Stay safe! Also dang why is North America getting all the inclement and cold weather? Japan has been having the most mild winter in a looooonnnnnng time.

We had been too. (When I say we, I live in the Puget Sound region where Paizo is headquartered). In January, we had weeks of sunny days with temperatures in the 60's or 70's F. That was very unseasonable for us; it is usually much colder with plenty of rain and some light snow. Then we got this unusually heavy snowfall.
