What with so little out there about the Empyreal lords, those cults might make a nice preview!
Ah, the nocturne. For this, it could be no other, yet is excellent!
Will do. I wasn't sure if it was really overdue, but since I couldn't track it, I was hoping you could. Will keep an eye out.
There are a lot of suggestions above that I agree with, and one I didn't see listed. I always take a signal whistle, because sooner or later, somebody on watch is going to need to wake folks up.
It's been about a week longer than the estimate, and the track your package link in the email goes to a page that says to contact you guys.
Any idea where this might be?
I have a bunch of pdf back issues in my shopping cart, but I can't seem to get to the confirmation page to order them. I see the review items page fine, but clicking on confirm and select payment method links to a blank page with a complicated URL and does not load. Are they still for sale?
At first, I noticed that two of them had a red line through the price (112, 114) and then the discount, while the others just had black, so I saved the red two for later, but that didn't work. Do I have too many?
Any plans to include good outsiders, powerful or otherwise?

Hope you are well!
I think keeping some of the race blurbs helps the causal players. As for the class info, that could probably be condensed down to highlights of things that will work well and that which will not work at all. The skill suggestions would be better off consolidated and briefly summarized as well.

Having seen the Brightness Seeker transition into the reincarnated druid archetype, I support these experiments.

To be fair, now that Paizo moved away from compiling the dungeon maps in the associated AP and switched over to making big versions of more generic areas, the Map Folios have gotten more useful.
For example, the Carrion Crown Map Folio is handy for any campaign set in Ustalav.

It's similar the dimension door effect on a cape of the mountebank.
Please, post the party makeup. I'd like to hear what's working so well.
So, who are the Empyreal lords in this?
Ah, I forgot she had the old 3.5 sudden feats; I thought it was a metamagic rod. It's for probably for the best. The other voices in her poor head would have likely blasted his sanity.
Her odd word choices will no doubt be handy if she ever fires up the sendings and dreams.
Actually, I meant her. Waving her arms around to work magic and still say nothing is just like a crazy person's idea of prayer to Wee Jas.
Also, silent telepathic bond is 6th.

So far we know the first two adventures. James Sutter mentioned that the third adventure would feature elements from City of Strangers and Distant Worlds. James Jacobs gave some awesome insight on adventures 4 & 5, which will feature a monastery and Leng respectively.
Makes me wonder where adventure 6 will take place. One of the lost cities of Thassilon, such as the mysterious totally-not-a-snowglobe Crystilan? Or maybe they'll tie in drow elements from Second Darkness by heading to the Darklands? Can't wait to find out.
Well, James did also have that restriction on giants. So maybe Chorak's Tomb?
This is excellent as usual.
I would have expected Uncle Worrin to get a silent Rary's telepathic bond.
I'm hoping for Windsong Abbey because the older ruins buried beneath the place sound interesting. Any cool interactions with the Shoanti planned for this one? The decennial meet of the Spire clan at Spindlehorn, the Calvatirium, or anything like that?
The order of Arshea better be moody and blue despite (or perhaps because) they dress in white silks.
Having mostly wiped out the Rovagug worshipping gnolls already, I can only hope to reap the ranks of Lamashtu's faithfull. Maybe even bag a creepy goblin assassin. That would be nice.
Shalafi2412 wrote: Will these ever be the goal of an AP? Well,
So I'd say there's a chance of at least one appearing!
Next stop Windsong Abbey?
I sure hope this does well enough to pave the way for some angel books!
While I'd be up for an AP set entirely on another world, or a planet-hopping one, I can guess that doing either would be a major business gamble. In the interest of making a saleable product, I'd suggest a Second Darkness sequel/campaign extender beginning with the PCs being dispatched through the aiudara from Kyonin to Sovyrian. Kind of like the forthcoming trip to the moon, actually.
Nice choice on the color scheme for this AP. Looks good!
Man, no love for Leng around here. I would have thought that a ship full of crazies and a sinister captain would be great.
And a tiny, forked ruby rod. Wrapped in a treasure map drawn on humanoid skin in blood, of course. Or maybe on spider silk. Heh.

I'll add support for waters of Golarion, and the suggestion to revive name level. In particular, a bunch of different looks at the followers that come with leadership using the usual articles. So a running a dojo or fort as your stronghold attracts combat types and is described in the Combat article. Similarly, running a playhouse or The Rusty Dragon for Social, etc.
Thinking about far off Sarusan, I'd like to see something that has a few archetypes or examples of the wordcasting from Ultimate Magic. Just one or two stat blocks to make sure we're understanding that system correctly.
For locations: Varisia, Goka, and maybe Galt.
The next time an evil product comes around, how about the four elemental lords as the faith article? Call it Destruction of Golarion, say.
I liked the old Dragon articles for 100 Uses for &Random_Item, and Adventurer's Armory was a top seller in this category, so I'd like a sequel along the lines of Adventurer's Oddities. Its theme would be "Stuff that a wise party always has one of, and why." Most folks know to have the party carry a scroll of break enchantment on someone other than the cleric just in case he needs it, but plenty of times at PFS I've seen people wonder why my character has a whistle. Crystal, this one is all you!
A backstory guide, good for fleshing out a character's family tree, and maybe NPC relationships. Though not as powerful as the relationship boons from Jade Regent, maybe. Also include using fame to rise in noble title, and maybe an update to the tournament rules in the teal box.

This sounds cool.
Playing off the Osirion request above, maybe one could be set in historical times when Aroden (LN) was still alive.
David Devier wrote: The plot, it thickens, like gravy. Definitely getting some creepy vibes about the abundance of pork... Quite a variety of presentations. Methinks the short order cook favors the long pork though.
Watch out, the earth yai's summons go to 11! Although given what happens to drummers, perhaps this is only fair.
In case any lurkers were wondering about my question, a quick pass with C-f for "duel" only found ads, and "performance" only turned up bard references. Also, "daimyo" appears but "damyio" does not.
Can't wait to dig into the text!
When Paizo gets around to doing an evil campaign, I'd like to see the PCs be agents of Cheliax dispatched into Isger to grow more powerful and generally keep the vassals in line.
I'd also like a dwarf-heavy AP like Second Darkness, playing mostly in Druma and Five Kings Mountains. Perhaps with a visit to Darkmoon Vale or Urglin via the Darklands.
For a relatively subtle, low-profile sort of heroism, I'd like a subversive, chaotic good AP. Low level Robin Hood stuff in Nirmathas, underground railroads in Cheliax, and maybe an infiltration into Nidal. Something like that.
I'd like some sort of pilgrimage in the next "Big Journey" type AP, with strong religious flavor.

I'd like this, with the default assumption being that the PCs are usually Filthy Rich. And using the reputation rules from Linorm Kings.

Sigh... if only Jacobs and Wes had let me put that space elevator in Varisia...
Sarusan, man. There's plenty of tracking station stuff in real Australia.
Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
So, any performance combat duels to win hearts & minds?
Since the switch to Pathfinder, my favorite titles have been:
What Lies in Dust
The Varnhold Vanishing
Blood for Blood
Racing to Ruin
Ashes at Dawn
and The Empty Throne.
I have not like Stolen Land, because every time I read it, my inside voice reads the title to sound like "Trojan Man!" from the radio adds.
Other misses:
Mother of Flies (too many 'f's too close)
Sound of a Thousand Screams (you mean, like that effect in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly?)
The Thousand Fangs Below (And The Perfect Disguise Above! Wait, there's no desert in the jungle.)
Wake of the Watcher (Don't remember the watcher being all that central. Perhaps if there was a funeral to attend, but that was some adventures earlier.)
Looking further ahead, everything in Skull & Shackles sounds decent, except maybe The Island of Empty Eyes (C'mon guys, let's go lift a moai!)
Poor Balazar has yet to appear!

We use the same printer for all our books, and if we hit them with something unexpected, like a reprint or an extra product... or if some OTHER company does the same, then their print schedules change. Sometimes for the good, sometimes not. Delays in customs and delays to the boat's travel across the ocean can mess with things too... I'm constantly paranoid about having one of those boats sink halfway across the Pacific... I'd say the most likely explanation is them bumping their schedule around to arrange their work around Chinese New Year, aka Tet, and the ten days preceding it, which falls on January 23 next year. It's a pretty big travel season over there, and like the Christmas to New Year's run, people want the time off then. Check out chunyun, the world's largest human migration. Basically, all China grinds to a halt as the rail system is packed moving people. It's so bad that last year or the year before, places almost ran out of coal because the railways couldn't keep up with the traffic.

I suppose I'm wondering something to this effect: are these sections effective in collaborating the rules bits of these books in logical locations that are easy to find and present the information in a way that is useful to the players? What do other people think about shrinking other sections to expand others such as in the case of books that would be more combat- or magic-focused?
Continue to weigh in on other matters that interest you, of course; all the feedback is great so far!
I like the sections organizing the rules bits. Please, never again the mishmash of the Andoran and Qadira books. I don't mind the total quantity of crunch varying, but please let it be conveniently organized.
I keep thinking Bastardhall would make an appearance in the evil AP.
I wondered that too. Maybe '13 is the year were the experimental AP is The Evil AP? That would be my preference, at any rate.
Maybe Bastardhall is a module that year. I kind of doubt they would go the I6 route, though. Skeletons of Scarwall really covers that ground well, right down to the awesome map.
I'd say an early tell will be how they handle the scheduled reappearance of Baba Yaga in 4712.
F. Wesley Schneider wrote: Twigs wrote: Out of curiosity, what can we expect to come next? I'm sad to see the "Faiths of" and "Races of" lines dried up... Would we possibly be coming back to these? The preorder section of the Player Companion page has or current list of all Player Companions that have been announced. Hopefully Blood of Fiends proves we're not done with the "[Race] of Golarion" concept quite yet. I saw that after my villainy post above, and was sad. When will the aasimar get their day in the sun?
The cover of the Tian Xia map pack looks like it has some volcanoes in the middle of jungle lowlands, so I'm waiting to see if I could find a place to fit it in over there. Also, since they've said that their Australia analog is the most dangerous, with dangerous seas, I'm hoping I can put the Isle of Dread between Tian Xia and Sarusan.
I'd vote for mostly textbook voice. The in-world voice should be like saffron- rare, exotic, and high quality. I liked it in the interlude pages in the Book of the Damned and the fiction in the forward to Rule of Fear, but I'd like to keep it rare. Making that sort of thing more common means you will have more varied quality, and when it doesn't connect with the reader, it's not as useful as other stuff, however dry, might be.
Although I don't have any particular complaint about Goblins of Golarion or Faiths of Corruption, I wouldn't mind laying off the villainy for a while. Like for six or more books after Pirates, since that's coming out for the next AP.
I like the city books in the GM line, but I don't think I'd like them as much if I were just a player. Neither would I like needing the PFS book if I wanted to know more about Absalom, but didn't play PFS. So I guess I'd like an Absalom book, like how the Inner Sea Primer is the distant descendent of the Gazetteer.
